Well, it's nice for a change to see that we both share one thing in common - a disdain of the WRU. Does anyone know how many red wall members there are? Obviously we will hopefully get priority for the playoff games, however I'm not sure if there was a limit on ticket purchasing for the last games. Think the ticket will go mental on the day they open for sale. For the last 2 games each member was able to buy 2 tickets. For this one to give as many people an opportunity maybe leave it as 1 ticket per member? When single tickets went on sale for Y Wal Goch it was actually 4 per member for Belgium and Belarus. I suppose by that point they were satisfied that everyone had had a fair chance to buy as the double tickets had been on sale for a while.

I reckon that they should do a joint semi final/final ticket and refund the second ticket if we don’t get there. With the short turnaround between the two games, it would reduce the scramble if we win the semi

I assume they would do a double ticket, of course.

Yeah, I wasn’t aware of the fact that we’d have to play the other team that lost if we didn’t win

I got the vibe he’ll do his best while he’s here but the moment the Rep Of Ireland job comes along he’s off!!! Lets hope he makes a change for the better in the 4-6 years he serves us.

He’s waiting for a bigger job, let’s see if the hyperbole and jazzy branding presentations match up to tangible progress

Regardless of all that, I think he's doing a pretty good job. His tweets are always enthusiastic and lively. There's been much more engagement from him with us than ever there was with J Ford.
Like of all of us, he's thinking about the Austria match - only a week and a bit to go now!

We had a similar situation when our floodlight scheme was in for planning, thankfully common sense prevailed and the vast majority of our neighbours were very supportive of the plan. Best of luck to Llantwit Major with the application.

It’s funny that Gary Speed and Osian seem to be getting all the credit for the recent success. The reality is Tosh and Flynn getting grossly over looked here.

Like of all of us, he's thinking about the Austria match - only a week and a bit to go now! I'd taped Joe, Jock a'r Jinx Albanaidd when it was shown around the Austria game. Finally felt safe to watch it after beating the Ukraine at the weekend. Programme is all about the 1977 and 1985 'home' games versus the Scots which remain infamous amongst us. Very much worth a watch if you can - even 1985 was just before my time, when I started putting Wales and heartbreak together in the same sentences for nearly 30 years. Lots of good interviews including Ellis James, Joe Allen, Mickey Thomas, John Hardy, Dalglish and the cheating jockass himself.
Anyway, got me thinking that it was such a difference between 1985 and today. Then the (cash strapped) FAW ignored the players pleas to play it at Y Cae Ras, and took it to Ninian. Then, the Scots took it over. Y Wal Goch own the place now on such nights. Credit to the fans, the players and manager for the magical night on Sunday.
But thanks also to Noel Mooney and FAW bosses for not moving it to the Millenium. Track record hasn't been totally perfect amongst their decisions, but they're doing a damn fine job. Hope that side of things continues for a long time too.

There were reports in one paper today (validity questionable) that Mooney and the FAW want to renegotiate (downwards obviously) the qualification bonus offered to the players.

It’s one of them ones where you hope they can thrash it out. Paper talk the players agreed to £4 million for them on qualification. But paper talk…..

Haven't seen the programme Joe jock ar jinx albanaidd yet,may watch it when I get home after this series of games, will get home after the Holland game. The 1985 game though,it isn't my memory that the Scots "took over"in any shape or form. They were given 15k tickets out of the sellout 40k crowd and there was a cracking atmosphere from both sets of fans in the ground. They only needed a point and got it from a dodgy pen which may not have been given if var had existed then who knows.
NW police didn't want the game in Wrexham as they thought the infrastructure couldn't cope with a game of this magnitude. Off course CCS has taken it to another level but there has been great atmospheres created throughout our history from time to time, and 1985 was one such occasion if memory serves me right.

Noel spoke very well on ITV"s Newsweek Wales this morning. Catch up with it if you can. He's a very smooth operator. In his FAI days in Ireland, he got on well with Roy Keane apparently (no mean feat).

I like the idea in a romantic sense... but it's going to open a can of worms.
Do you think the English media will consistently say 'Cymru'? I can see the articles already.
They'll probably pronounce it as "Kimroo" too.
