I can already see the shit Mark Harris will get if he's called up ahead of Mullin next month He clearly doesn't deserve abuse, however it's pretty obvious the likes of Bradshaw, Aaron Collins and Mullins should be called up instead. I'd even say Broadhead should get a call up over him now. T Roberts is also back from injury and been playing reasonably well. He's 24 now, so hardly a youngster. |

Wrexham forum having a meltdown over the idea of him getting called up. Not surprised. They were noticeably less effective after he went off against Sheffield. So if he were to get injured, they're in big trouble. |

It's quite possible, although when this has happened before it's because the player has said something like "my grandad is Welsh" but despite living there all their life they weren't born there - which is the crucial piece of info Mullin seems adamant that his grandmother was born in Wales, so it's probably just a case of them finding the paperwork to prove that. Of course it might turn out she wasn't born there so it's dependent on whether Mullin is right and whether he can prove it The fact that this came out very soon after the Sheffield United matches tells me that if eligible he will be called up. Again could be wrong, but I don't think this story comes out otherwise |

Have to admit, the thought had crossed my mind when all of this started that we were having this whole debate on the basis of one tweet from Mullin which might not have been 100% accurate or a joke. But then I've seen DS tweeting a couple of times that Mullin's been monitored since his Cambridge days, so assumed the link was 100% legit.

Was told a while back PM was watched during his playing time at CUFC, so internally there must have been basic checks done, and at that time not taken any further The news regarding "no documentation" I would expect to be the usual birth certificate etc. to prove his Welsh heritage. This to tie in with FIFA regulations - (of course there would be minimal admin costs for this as per normal with these things) PM quote being registered I would guess means he has "told" the FAW of interest in representing Wales and he is registered with the FAW. But to become eligible with regards to FIFA evidence must be shown of course Top of my head (without checking) there was a delay with Kieffer Moore - was due to be in March 2019, but then only came in June 2019 - stand corrrected on that info etc Back to PM. You can read into it what you like regarding selection based on RP quotes etc. Players as per normal are told roughly during the 1st week of March for matches played in that month. Would expect the squad to be announced during the week Monday 13th March as the squad would due to meet up on 19/3/2023 Keeping any call up quiet before then would be difficult  |

Loads of people of Welsh heritage lived (and still do, I guess) in the Liverpool area and beyond - many of whom, for generations, may have considered themselves "Welsh" even if born on the English side of the border!
So PM may well have had who he considered a Welsh "Nain" but who was actually born on Merseyside?
