This is the sexiest away destination draw in years! Very excited ;-)
Now. If Mr Mooney can please combine a double away in June in Yerevan and Turkey!!! Trekking up Mt Ararat has been on my bucket list for years, and I have thrice only seen it from the 'wrong' side ...

Turkey, could have been worse Idk, thought they were pretty clearly the strongest team from pot 4. Oh well still quite a favourable group. The Czech's must be over the moon with their draw. They've managed to avoid all the big/tricky sides from every single pot

Last time we played Croatia it was in Osijek where they have that amazing home record. The stadium in Zagreb is close to completion.Just hoping it won't be Osijek again. Not only due their record, but the capacity of the stadium (17,000) which they only gave the required 5% allocation last time if I recall.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has also retired from playing for Armenia, which is good news for us. None of the Armenian team play in any of the big leagues in Europe
I'm sure they won't be pushovers, in a similar Georgia can be tricky. But definitely a great draw from pot 3

We should finish in the top 2. However, if we don't, looking at the groups we would be very unlucky not to get a play-off place via the Nations League, as difficult to see 4 other League A Nation's League teams not qualifying automatically. A big problem with the play offs is the timing. Draw for the finals Dec 23. Play offs March 24. Accommodation and travel options will be all but gone. Obviously take it in the absence of anything else though.

Group B: Netherlands, France, Republic of Ireland, Greece, Gibraltar
Hahahahahahaha Brilliant Brilliant! Anyone think we got it tough just look at the Scots and ROI
8:38am here. So just woke up to this. Good draw for us. Just hoping Bale doesn’t retire

It's an OK draw all in all, but getting Turkey is a real shame. They're likely to be our main competition IMO for 2nd without wanting to disrespect Armenia. Although I'm not too familiar with either side's players so I don't know beyond their general results how strong they are. We have a realistic chance of qualification but there are a few groups I'd have rather had. E and G are fantastic draws really.

Turkey is the only tricky one, them or Sweden were the ones I did not want from pot4. They are a very hit and miss side, and I expect them to be our main challengers. Hopefully we can win our home games, beat Armenia and Latvia away. We must not lose to both Croatia and Turkey away if we are to qualify. Glad Page has said he is targeting top, gone are the days of hoping to finish 3rd for the Euro 2016 Playoff!

Get 10 points at home and get 4-8 away. Job done.

I've been reading that due to our Nations League standing we are very likely going to get a play-off spot, so we might well go for it and try and come top of the group.

Exactly, imagine if they expand to 32 teams 😫 At least they got rid of the 3rd place play off that they had for the 2016 tournament and gave those play offs to the nations league. 1st and 2nd should be all that counts.

To be honest likely path out of the group is 6 from Armenia/Latvia and 4 from Turkey or 3 from Turkey and at least 1 from Croatia. That would give us 16 points which should be enough barring something crazy. I think it's vital not to drop points to Armenia or Latvia which is no guaranteed thing. Although I could see Turkey dropping points in those places in fairness, I just think they could also surprise Croatia.

As silly as it would be I'm not sure there'd be a huge drop off in quality if you added another 8. If you look at the last Euros the 8 extra (based on ranking) would be Serbia, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Romania, Iceland, Norway, Bosnia & Greece. Would make qualifying a farce though, but it wouldn't surprise me if a 32 team Euros is put forward for 2028. Who knows they may make it a Europe-South America joint tournament

Absolute NO to any expansion of the Euros. Or Euro-SA tournament. That is what the World Cup is for. Keep saying it over and over, don't fix what isn't broke.

That's what would happen if you go to 32 teams.

FAW tweeted to say there’s an issue with the fixture lists so to disregard them for now.
Careful if you’re looking at flights currently, we almost paid for Istanbul.
