He can't get in the Birmingham team - been an unused sub for most of the last couple of months. And he's never played a single second for the Qales So? Hasn't stopped us picking the likes of Smith, Levitt, Colwill, Luke Harris, Matondo, M Harris etc over the last few years has it? No it hasn't. But it certainly isn't evidence that he's a special talent either- or someone who's about to become a cornerstone of the Welsh midfield. He's young and may yet improve to the point where that happens. If he does, great.But there's no particular reason to believe that he will. |

Be good to be patient for this lad, he's getting the appearances in fair play. 100 senior appearances and then I think you can make an impact at international level (unless you're extremely talented and can do it sooner)

Given Morrell, Ampadu & Ramsey all available I think it would be very unlikely. If things are going well I'd like to see him get 10-15 mins, but that's a big if! Maybe if someone's sitting close to the dugout, they can remind Page of the sub rule. On one hand I can see why a manager doesn't want to make changes when a game is finely balanced, particularly in certain positions like CM & anywhere across the defence What I can't understand is why Page didn't bring a clearly knackered DJ off for Broadhead much earlier against Latvia. Everyone around me in the stands was calling for it and it seemed so obvious With Kieffer who was shagged late on, I can understand wanting to keep him on for corners, but not doing DJ to Broadhead definitely lost us momentum in that game, so that's my main criticism of Page's decisions that time around |
