Scored his first professional goal tonight, following an assist he got at the weekend. Seems to be playing well, and has already played 13 times for them (12 starts). Only just turned 19. Very promising.

Another game in League One and another goal for him.

Scored again today and seems to have played well. Looks like he's got better and better over the course of his loan spell with 3 goals and 2 assists in his last 8 games. Not bad for a 19yo midfielder in League 1

Move on loan to Swans next season would be great. Crying out for creativity there at present.

You'd be hoping he gets a Championship move next season really

Another goal for him today - that’s 4 goals and 2 assists in his last 10 games now. Will be interesting to see what move he gets next season

Anything gone on here? Dragged all over the place and no gametime, now not in a senior squad that was supposedly designed to give youngsters opportunities
Strange omission unless he's injured of course

It is a bit strange. He's just had his best spell in senior football and he's not included, despite being included previously with weaker credentials. Perhaps he turned down the invite, or he's injured?

He’s been treated awfully by Page tbh. That Gibraltar game omission despite effectively confirming that he’d play was shameful on Rob’s part.

This is a very strange one, maybe (hopefully) there's an innocent explanation, however the World Cup pullout was a bit of a red flag for me, and since then he's been oddly managed by Page.

Been a regular with the U21s. Having seen him play for them a few times, I'd say that is his level at the moment. Likely Page thinks the same.

Perhaps this illustrates the danger of including players prematurely because of the hype around them. Their inclusion then comes at the expense of players, like Collins, who've put in the hard yards.

How does that tally though with the inclusion of Crew who's played about 5 minutes for the u21s and hasn't made a senior club appearance?

There's no cap on how many players we can call up so it's not like we're limited to a certain amount of attackers to fit in midfielders. Harris is also dual-qualified as far as I'm aware Really, I think Harris deserves a cap at this point. He was taken all over Europe in our Euros & Nations League campaigns only to be dropped to the u21s with 0 gametime. He was called up for the Gibraltar game and didn't get on in that game when Low & Savage got the full 90. He's gone out on loan to get experience in men's senior football as well as regular gametime (which is what Page claims he wants) and yet isn't in the squad for a couple of games Page was building up as blooding in youngsters. I'd be pretty pissed off if I were him, especially seeing myself now being omitted whilst 2 other uncapped players with even less senior experience are called up to the seniors

I think he should have been included, however he hasn't quite lived up to the hype so far. That isn't an issue in my eyes, he needs time to develop, but it's not a glaring omission
He's a different position to Crew as well, centre midfield is one of our more problematic positions so taking a look at some of the depth there is a good idea. Harris is behind plenty in the pecking order for the attacking midfield berths
Wilson DJ Brooks Brennan Broadhead Ramsey Matondo Colwill
Hard to get him minutes ahead of them and also get the likes of Koumas on the pitch too

Great to see Luke already featured last week for 25' and is getting a start this lunchtime on ITV ( PS - played 66'). Possibly an outside chance of a recall ? (although dragonsoccer always says that the squad members get notified 2 WEEKS ahead of the actual squad announcement ...)
Luke was a constant starter in August for Brom before his injury.

Hmm, didn'T watch the game, however he's been average/poor apparently.
However, and yes, I'm going to sound like a broken record, he's ANOTHER Welshman who's been out injured for a lengthy period.
