Bit of nonsense celebrating in the face of the Scot who scored own goal at the end, but apart from that what a composed performance in the middle of the park. One to watch.

Do you see it? Could have been straight red Not sure if reds are given for these sort of things, but agreed, pathetic behaviour - hopefully the coach has a word.

Do you see it? Could have been straight red I haven’t see it. What did he do? Straight red sounds bad! Never seen anything like that being given a straight red before. It was just a bit of classless behaviour after we scored the fourth goal, where he ran up to one of the defenders involved in the own goal and celebrated in his face.

Do you see it? Could have been straight red You utter cretin, a young lad captaining his country and you’re calling for him to have a red card. Great to see the lad giving it back with passion, it’s a winning mentality. Time and time again we’re told we’re too nice.

We don't know the ins and outs of it, there's a possibility that the Scottish lad had been giving it large all game or there'd been a few incidents and this was his payback. I've lost count of the amount of times in competitive football where someone has been a mug towards me or a teammate and I've given them a bit back, it's not ungentlemanly, it's only fair in my eyes that if someone is being a constant moron that they get a humbling. I'm not condoning out and out shithousery, I despise that, but there are times when someone deserves what they get.

This lad is a top player, looked very very composed. I’m sure he’ll go onto have a great career at premier league level. Can see why leeds were so desperate to get their hands on him.

Probably deserves his own thread now that he's in the u21s at just 16, having also been fast-tracked into Leeds' u23s and was reportedly signed for a six-figure sum. Definitely one to watch. There might even be an opportunity with Leeds' seniors in the Championship next year - I can't see the likes of Tyler Adams and Weston McKennie hanging around anyway!

On more money than Colwill & Davies are at Cardiff allegedly, which would be mad for a 16 year old Very annoying from a club perspective that Cardiff have lost out on good players that they've developed, there may be more to leave yet

Rate him so highly, not just from the performances in the finals but also qualifying as well. He just stands out so much at that level, and more or less did instantly from when I first watched him.
Hhe always wanted the ball, was always confident receiving it and was so consistent with his touch and his passing.
I hope he features, of that U17 side him and Iwan Morgan are the stand outs for me and regardless of the results in the finals this summer if those two can progress to the first team that side will be a success.

Saw a suggestion on a Cardiff City forum that England are trying to lure Charlie Crew I don't believe that for a minute. Met and spoke with his dad twice out in Budapest. Charlie is mighty proud to wear his armband and loves the camaraderie in this Welsh set up

Very positive noises, I can actually see him becoming an option for us very quickly, particularly if he starts getting any first team action for Leeds
Might be more through necessity than anything else, but for his age he seems to be developing very quickly

Very positive noises, I can actually see him becoming an option for us very quickly, particularly if he starts getting any first team action for Leeds Might be more through necessity than anything else, but for his age he seems to be developing very quickly It's unfortunate that he has another quality youngster in Gray to compete with, who's only a year older and performing very well at Championship level. They've also just brought in kamara, so he'll likely need a loan to get senior minutes

Gray is actually same age as Crew. I read on the DS site Crew was actually born in Yorkshire, not sure how accurate that is?
