Wonder if more fans have booked flights this week. Yerevan to Gatwick (via Rome) went up from £115 last Friday to £200+ today. Starting to regret not having booked them earlier. You can still get out there on the Thursday for less than £ 100. Stansted - Milan Malpensa - Yerevan. Ryanair and Wizz with 4.5 hour stopover for a bit of reassurance. Back on the Sunday now a bit dearer but if you can back on the Monday it can be as low as 50 quid. |

It's really frustrating how late it's being left. I know we can book flights ahead of time, but it's nice to know you've got your ticket sorted first.

FAW are waiting for the Armenian FA to send the ticket plan apparently, then the FAW will send out ticket info ASAP. |

Win tonight and they'll be well in the running. Doubt they're often saying that with 2 games to go in a qualifying campaign. I suppose we could refuse at this stage or do they have to name the city rather than the venue. |

From my experience with wizz Air they will often keep flights that have long been canceled on their website. They kept the cardiff flights live for weeks after email me about their total cancellation of all cardiff routes. Call their customers service. One thing that I can say about their customers service is that when the no longer connecting flight is also with them - they have always allowed me to reschedule them both. What number have you called for this? I've just tried 0330 977 0444 and they were adamant that they never reschedule connecting flights |

Interesting one this. Most of us in Stage 1 but got a mate in Stage 4 who’s worrying. 1360 before him so I think it’ll be tight but I imagine given the distance and flight issues he should be alright.

Over all options seem whizz as main carrier
Looking advice as in stage 1 so definitely have a ticket

Wizz great when it works, not so good when it doesn’t. Just got my expenses claim paid last week from when my flight back from Poland was cancelled. Yes, remember how long is it since we played Poland! Their wheels turn slowly on compensation and expenses with obstacles along the way.

Got three away matches, only managed to get in the home end for Latvia. A bit nervous if it makes it that far (yet to book travel, but the prices have definitely increased), and hesitant to book without a ticket as money is a bit tight (although if I can get one I'd be booking).
I imagine travel will push up again over the start of next week as it moves through the stages.

BOOKING ACCOMMODATION
Can I humbly recommend to people here NOT to follow the FAW poor example and to book digs AWAY FROM REPUBLIC SQ and FREEDOM SQ - the majority of public demonstrations happen on THURSDAY and FRIDAY evenings and they usually walk up MASHTOTS AVE towards the Government of Armenia building and onto Freedom and Republic Squres.
I would recommend staying NORTH of Republic Sq metro, perhaps the area around Yeritasardakan Metro (Metronome Shopping Centre) - this is where minibus 201 from the airport terminates (0700-2300) and it is still about a mile away from the stadium...

If you need to kill time, try Karas restaurant chain - five branches in Yerevan city centre and all open 24/7 - similar to the Baltic Lido chain. Beer is £1/500ml khachapuri/khinkali/lachmajon are all about 300d / about 60p
