There’s no chance this sells out before reaching stage 3 is there? Didn’t renew my red wall membership this campaign, just been doing the odd game I would be surprised if it made stage 3 personally.

Can’t you just buy membership now? I have membership anyway. I should be ok then? Obviously in Guatemala hard to get to games. Always get membership though. You never know. Flights booked.

Always get membership though. You never know. Flights booked. No. Obviously, the FAW are Red Hot about preventing Polaks / Estonians becoming Red Wall honorary members... I know that £20 can seem like a lot, if you don't intend to use it ... But the English / Scotish FA equivalant are £75 / £55... The FAI are charging £150 ...
Besides, both for EURO 2020 and WC 2022 the Red Wall was the absolute minimum criteria for obtaining a FAW portal code to access the tournaments tickets. This time we get 10k tickets via the FAW portal, for the group games

Considering the sizes of Dortmund and Munich stadiums - pretty much any Red Wall member will be able to get a ticket. Hamburg is a little smaller (we should still get circa 8500 allocation tho)
Lets hope Estonian 😉

The Scotts have sold out their allocation. Last of the tickets cost £600! 600 for the opening match, yes. Do feel UEFA take the mick charging the drawn side in the opening games fans the premium. It’s not their fault they have been drawn into the opening game. Hopefully we are all paying a premium in 4 years time though.

So you don't fancy a trip to Estadio Azteca for the WC opening ceremony, in two years? I hear Mexico City is hot and sticky in June ;-)

I see that its only 6k for R16 and QF, tho ... which may mean quite a few missing out! €50 Fan First tickets for R16 in Dusseldorf 1 July might be worth a punt!

Always get membership though. You never know. Flights booked. No unfortunately you can't buy it anymore. Which is fair as that's exactly what the away fans would do to gain access to the home end. Didn't realise I can't buy tickets for the tournament either but think there are other avenues for that if it happens.

Plenty of water will flow down the Rhine until June, but one step closer to Hamburg today ;-) A bit fiddly on the FAW site - you need to click on your PROFILE after logging in, and then click on " 2 TICKETS RESERVED"
After that it saves one ticket - for Finland - then CONTINUE SHOPPING and then add the second ticket ... www.eticketing.co.uk/fawtickets-english/

Liking some of the comments on social media saying that if we don't reach the final then will we be offered a refund due to the match becoming a friendly 🤣. Just bite the bullet and hope for a win! Saw too many peeps miss out on Ukraine tickets by being hesitant.

Saw too many peeps miss out on Ukraine tickets by being hesitant. Do think it's shite, no chance am I taking a day off work to watch our reserves play a friendly. They should do the decent thing and offer a refund, a play-off final is not in anyway comparable to a friendly against Estonia.

Noel Mooney strikes again. If we don’t get to the euros that’s a considerable loss to the FAW. Hopefully it won’t be a friendly.

Well if it’s a friendly, cancel your leave and stay home saving more than what you would’ve spent had the final been in Cardiff, in the knowledge you’ve invested in Welsh grassroots football and have a free summer where you don’t need to spend a penny either.

I'm not exactly convinced it's going into grassroots football. I'd feel better about it if it was. Pitches are falling by the wayside in the North, and it's local businessmen that are keeping them afloat up here rather than the FAW.

Fair enough supporting junior sections, but adult sides shouldn't get a penny.

I'm sure their financial accounts as an organisation are available online, including spending on grassroots, and Mooney's always made a big point around channelling as much as possible down that route. Where do you think the money's going?

Where do you think the money's going? I'm afraid that I don't have a particular agenda here, it's nothing more than one man's opinion. If the FAW were investing so much into grassroots football, why wouldn't they celebrate it? There's no indication of improvement in grass roots up here. Maybe there is in the South, I don't know. Colliers Park is probably the only obvious example of FAW spend in the North but that appears to be more of a facility to train up coaches rather than investing in grassroots. Hiring the facility for actual football is that pricy, even Wrexham have turned their nose at it. Personally, I think we're poorly spending a good deal of the cash. Expense bills are likely too high and we're spending too much on enterprises that we aren't receiving much benefit from. I'd like to know where you think the money has gone.

I think the bulk of it should be going into junior clubs and that includes keeping Welsh pitches available. Should be pretty obvious but without pitches, junior clubs have nowhere to play.

I realise that wasn't your point.

I understand why they are selling both tickets now, no issue with that. I also like how they have given existing ticket holders a long window to guarantee their seat, allows people plenty of time to save up if they need to.
One thing I cant stand and needs looking at is why we can't buy the tickets together with one booking fee? Two booking fees is a joke, just comes across as a money grab. £3 per ticket, its not on.
