I’ve seen enough. It’s pointless to rehearse the arguments. He’s got to go.

Wow even the BBC commentators are slamming page now. Saying players are getting away without doing the hard yards they would have to do at their clubs

Can't blame him for staying and we can't afford to fire him. We can kiss goodbye to the WC now. Fingers crossed we can rebuild for Euro 28 because I'll be livid if we miss that one.
Bad times.

Most international managers would be sacked following the past year or so.

Surely that’s the end of Page now? Absolutely clueless.

First time I've actually seen him apologise to the fans.

Give him credit for that. A lot of this is on Page of course but the players have been mostly rubbish the last two games. Even Ampadu had a shocker tonight

The rot has set-in, this cannot continue, these players may be loyal to Page but they are being misled and need a new approach from someone with fresh ideas and motivational skills.

Bale's playing golf in peace and popping up to play a Playstation every now again for a fat cheque, living the dream.
Just saw someone say sacking Page would be 'knee-jerk', that's some delusion.

I really feel for Page. He is a Wales legend, he led us to the World Cup, became the first manager to lead us to 2 finals, led us into Nations League A. What he's done for us has been amazing.
Despite all of that though the reality is his worth is only with Wales. A League One club might give him a go, but he's going to have to really expose himself as a manager by dropping down the leagues or go abroad and jump from job to job. He talks a lot about his family, choice is uproot them or go alone and only see them around the season.
I do think there should be a role in the FAW for people like him. For his contribution, be an assessor on the UEFA badges, be an ambassador etc. I don't think it's a given it should be as a manager though. I think we got where we were on a positive family atmosphere, that is great when you've got a generational talent. I do think we had the best player in the world for maybe a 2 year period. When that goes and no longer works we have to find other ways. I think this fun, professional, family feel is starting to be a parody of itself. It's all we are now. I hear them speak about camp and they talk about how good a person a player is. I don't think the demands and the killer instinct is there. We dig deep against Croatia etc as we know we have to but we can't put Latvia to the sword either.
The player and squad selection is what it is, but we've been doing the same thing since probably 2015 and it's become stale. I think in many ways so has Page. Everything is just a copy of something we did with better players. It just doesn't work anymore.

I hope he is OK
Its just sport - he cares but is not good enough. He needs an out as no one can expect him to walk away from £600k or so. Who would?

I genuinely feel sorry for him, anyone with a heart would. It's not nice to see someone be publicly booed.
However, unfortunately, some of it is his own doing by staying in the job too long.
He surely must be aware of his limitations as a manager, and the appointments he's made for his backroom staff are questionable as well. Coleman was limited as well, but unlike Page, Coleman was a massive character and a clear motivator. I don't see any of those qualities in Page, the type of qualities which would help overcome the tactical limitations.
I don't know what's going to happen next. He won't walk imo.
We don't know if a new manager would improve things (could make things worse, alas Coleman following Speed), but I think it's worth the risk now.

I'm guessing Coleman was the motivator and Osian the technical side of it. Did we ever see a Wales team not sure what they are supposed to do under them?

It’s now time for the FAW to say thanks Rob but your time is up.
This cannot be allowed to continue much longer. The fans have turned on him and things could start to become nasty if this carries on. Which would be a real shame for Page.
Now is a good as time as ever. Give the new guy the nations league
