Very poor, although we don't want to get shit housed on dire pitch like that. The move, whilst a massive pain for fans, will be better from a footballing perspective

Given next game is on Monday, wonder whether Ramsey may not start? Bellamy's already talked about different approaches for different opponents.
Chances of lining up something like...?
Ward
Roberts Rodon Davies Williams
Ampadu
Johnson James Wilson Thomas
Harris

Ward Roberts-Rodon-Davies-Neco Ampadu Brennan-Wilson-Ramsey-Sorba Moore
We'll be pinning them up the pitch, a striker to aim for on crosses would be good, and I think Kieffer is better for that than Harris. I don't think Harris's pressing will be needed really
I also don't think we'll need James's defensiveness so much, so taking him out and adding Moore would be my prediction

I imagine we'll see some changes, its a tight turnaround and the players played an intense game
Didn't see it obviously but looking at the stats it seemed an even game between Iceland & Montenegro despite losing 2-0

Wonder how much we can keep that level intensity up? I reckon we will see a few changes in wide areas particularly as they probably did the most running

Page chose a back 4 because it meant shifting around personnel on a bit of paper, Bellamy actually instills responsibilities, roles & tendencies he was expects from everyone which means we are far less likely to be exposed

Montenegro conceded both goals to Iceland from corners and nearly conceded a third. Clearly this is an area of weakness. Our best chance against Turkey - the Rodon one - came from a well worked corner routine. So, I'm confident that Bellamy will be well aware of this vulnerability of Montenegro's and will look to exploit it.
We should win this game comfortably, but we will need to be at it as fir thd game against Turkiye.

With this in mind could Bellamy start with Moore up front. With the crossing ability of Johnson and Thomas this wouldn't be a bad thing. Ramsey may be on the bench, with Wilson as a 10. That may be too conventional for Bellamy mind!

Makes me nervous when someone says we should win a game comfortably, especially away, what games have we ever expected to win comfortably? Faroes? Gibraltar maybe? But if course it would be disappointing not to win, comfortable or not

But if course it would be disappointing not to win, comfortable or not Fair does, perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself. I just feel if we perform as we did against Turkiye we should win with something to spare. Bellamy suggested he would make a couple of changes to the starting eleven. Apart from either Moore or Harris for Ramsey (who is probably mot up to two starts in quick succession) there aren't any other obvious replacements. Perhaps Mepham alongside Rodon with Davies replacing Neco. Or Beck replacing Neco? Perhaps Darlow instead of Ward. I can't see any other changes apart from Neco replacing Roberts on the right.

You are totally right wins,if we play like the other night surely we will win,I guess it's my pessimistic side of never actually expecting us to win comfortably, hopefully this new dawn can change that because we have really got game winners, and with koumas beck etc we have hopefully got them for years to come

But if course it would be disappointing not to win, comfortable or not Well we've never been a team that is good at dominating the ball. Our recent success has always been counter attacking and sitting off. When teams sat off against us it mostly nullified us. Under Bellamy we're learning how to be good at dominating possession, and moving forwards I expect to see us win games by larger margins than we're used to

But if course it would be disappointing not to win, comfortable or not yes these are the games we struggle in, when a team sit backs we cant break them down, and perhaps it didnt do us any favours when Turkey went down to 10, that phase was the least effective we played we will have a lot of possession I would imagine again but we need a cutting edge it will have to be tweaked up top for sure I can see Brennan at 9 Wilson more to the right and no other changes to the lineup[that means there will be about half a dozen then ] but I would start Koumas at 9 give Aaron a rest, bring him on second half let the young lad start he is ready

would love to see that and in a position that matches his squad number and be the first scorer under the Bellamy era too BBC stat- This will be the third time Montenegro have hosted Wales with the Brave Falcons winning the previous two, 2-1 in August 2009 and 1-0 in September 2010

Can Sorba take all crossing set-pieces please as well. It's his best attribute, frustrates the hell out of me that we are not taking full advantage.

Really excited for this one, we've shown we can play against a decent team but how will we approach a team likely to sit back and frustrate? Will be a real test of Bellamy's tactical ability. Surely they're unlikely to press us much or have a lot of possession so it will need a different approach than the Turkey game.
Playing Moore to win crosses into the box seems like the obvious choice but I think he'll go more down the route of trusting our more skillful players to break them down and find the gaps to fashion more clear cut chances. Ramsey is excellent at that so, if fit enough, I think he'll start in the 10 again and Moore will be used as a plan B later in the game if it's not working.

I think Harris is a good middle ground between the time we've either been playing without a striker or playing Moore.
Still gives us a focal point, can press well, can get in behind and just offers us something different to Moore without us having to resort us to favouring crossing it into the box all the time. Not to say that's Moore's game but defintiely something we're more inclined to do when he's on the pitch.

Doh. I was expecting it to be the one against Latvia where he was criticised for saying how **** everything was. I felt that was a bit unfair, no wonder footballers give generic interviews where when they actually are honest and come “off script” they get criticised. I always appreciated Bellamy not trying to mug fans off by pulling wool over eyes. Saying that though, from the POV of the Welsh camp I suspect brutal honesty like that probably doesn’t make him popular with team mates and his self-admitted mental health struggles also suggests why he might have been inclined to be more negative about things in interviews.
