Would anyone like to guess what the line up will be? I cant see us getting the win needed to top the group but you never know with Bellamy ball

Assuming that the only players we know are definitely out are Ramsey & Ampadu? If that's the case and everyone else is fit I'd go for
Darlow
Neco Mepham Rodon Davies
JJ Wilson Cooper
Brooks Brennan DJ
Think it would ask too much of Sheehan to chuck him in again, JJ has had experience of big games e.g Croatia, Turkey, Poland. I'd go towards using him, even though Sheehan played better than JJ in the most recent set of games

I've given up predicting a Bellamy starting XI particularly for these Nations League games.

I think Bellamy has a very specific role in mind for Brennan, using him to make the pitch as wide as possible by hogging the touchline, so I can’t see him deviating from selecting him at right wing. I also think he sees Connor as having an invaluable role as our only real inverted full back (as well as Neco played on Monday, he performed it differently to what Connor does.
Last I heard, Ramsey is back in light training so could be back in contention (or did I dream that?). So should there be no further injuries and expected returns materials, I can see us sticking with the same back 4 as Turkey home (Roberts, Rodon, Davies, and Neco), and then Johnson, Ramsey and James up top. If Ramsey’s unavailable, I find it difficult to guess which way he’ll go - probably between Moore or another false 9 like Broadhead if he gets any playing time before then. I think Brooks and Sorba will be our impact subs.
Goalkeeper will be a toss-up, although might be worth giving Darlow a proper test.
Midfield is the most difficult to predict. Wilson will obviously be one of three, and I’m pretty sure JJ will too. I would go with Sheehan as a 6, but Bellamy might favour the double 6 of Cooper and JJ again.

Ward Roberts Rodon Davies Neco Sheehan JJ Wilson Brennan Moore James Broadhead for Moore after an hour. Sorba for Dan James after an hour. Not sure how you can leave Brooks out, would start with him then bring on Dan James and Sorba on the wings later on to cause havoc

If Brooks gets decent game time before the next double header then I'm have him in the starting eleven for sure. However, although he showed some silky touches on Monday he also made some poor decisions reflecting his lack of game time.
By the way Ward's overall and long ball pass completion against Iceland significantly better than Darlow's against Montenegro. Darlow's relatively poor distribution was a factor in us losing dominance in the second half. Ward would be my choice for the Turkiye game.

Would anyone like to guess what the line up will be? I cant see us getting the win needed to top the group but you never know with Bellamy ball Slightly defeatist but I would say we do. The most “complete” performance we have seen was a 0-0 against the same opponents, where we weren’t able to put the ball in the net. A similar story to the last game we have played (both home games). Both away games we were given a very torrid time of it in the second halves by teams not as good (on paper). So sorry, whilst we might win and shock a few people (myself more than most) I don’t see where the evidence is that we have displayed previously under Bellamy that we can go away to a team that is having a decent time of it at the moment, in a notoriously hostile atmosphere that will no doubt influence the ref, and both find our scoring boots and display some defensive solidity to come away with a win. Saying that, I’d rate our chances a lot higher if playing a soft Western European side. We know how crap international refs are and I’ve got no faith we’ll be reffed with a straight bat during a night game in Turkey. That’s probably likely to make the difference on the scoresheet.

Any idea when the tickets for this will go on sale ? I've a mate who wants to go, hasn't been for quite a while and is on no current history. I've told him he'll probably be ok but its too far to go without a ticket and to hold fire booking flights etc.

Completely understand your mate's position. The location and having played them so recently will definitely put a dent in the numbers as will the expense of the Iceland trip.

We should be getting 1700-1800 tickets for this. 100% certain to go to general sale. Time of year and the fact that we were there last year - I'd be shocked if this even sells out in general sale...
I'd estimate 1500 going for this.

1,000 tickets made available. Reduced because of safety concerns apparently. Tickets go on sale next Wednesday

This game has been scheduled for this ground for months, they should have been clear on the allocation long before now. Poor show I'm afraid. I assume we're still getting the 5% of the lowered capacity. If so then there'll be some 13k empty seats which sounds a bit more than a limited safety issue !

I don't know any detail beyond the FAW update but it's tiring how often we seem to face these issues. I suspect 1,000 will be enough for everyone who wants to go this time having played them recently, it being awkward to get to, anecdotally tricky to get a beer in Kayseri and Iceland last month being an expensive trip. You never know though - think it might be a good trip for those who want to go up the tiers

Was there any feedback on the sales yesterday. I'm in stage 2 but my son is in 3. I would ideally like to get them together although I appreciate it will be a bit of a free for all once inside, particularly with half the seats empty.

Absolutely no one sits stands in their allocated seats on Wales Away trips even when sold out, do whatever works for you.

I couldn’t get on to the site via phone or PC, having previously done all the log-in checks without problem earlier today. Just as blood pressure was getting to dangerously high levels and the neighbours were being treated to previously unheard Welsh swearwords, it started working. Calmness has been restored, the cat has come out from under the cupboard and I’m currently doing yoga meditation and deep breathing exercises.
