Neil would love to play in a Euros again. He came out and said he’d loved to have been in France as a fan too.

Judging by his fitness in the last few months, he will be playing in QATAR as well ;-) Hope he gets a move to a decent PL side - God knows both United and the Arsenal could do with his qualities!

Ironically Neil Taylor made his Wales debut in Osijek against Croatia in 2010 so will bring back good memories - but obviously a better result this time!!

I'd put Taylor ahead of Dummett tbh, I still think Wales is all about raising Paul's profile rather than playing for the badge, the bloke threw a wobbler under Coleman whereas Neil has always been dependable.

I think Dummett is the better player but Taylor has had a really good 6 months and I don't see him as any sort of weakness.

Just wait til our Neil gets discovered by PSG or Barcelona. A tidy windfall for the mighty Wrexham ;-)

I wouldn't worry, we shouldn't need Ben till October anyway.

Every time I see young Neil - and I must have seen him eight or nine times this year - he has always been really good. Full of running and very offensive minded. Today again against Bournemouth, he is very good. Neither goal was anywhere near to being his fault and he had at least three very good clearances already in the first half. Many (if not most) of the Villa attacks start with him bringing the ball out down the left and he is often galloping down to the by-line to cross the ball.
Was unlucky not to have scored, with two decent shots blocked, one almost from off the line ;-(
CLASS PLAYER.

I thought he was shocking as well. The way he stood and watched their striker score after the initial shot was shameful. I couldn’t believe what I was watching.
Dreadful.

Giggs needs to wise up. Love Taylor but he is not a match for Ben. I assumed Ben might have taken a knock or was not in form for whatever reason when I realised he wasn't in the back four.

He was shocking tonight but he'll be the first to admit that.
Shows how vital Davies is for the remaining games, let's hope he plays at Spurs.

It's not Giggs's fault Davies had surgery in the summer and didn't have a pre-season and hasn't played a minute of football this season.
Taylor didn't play well, but I back the decision to start him all the way, as should everyone else. Let's not forget Davies made a bad mistake out in Hungary for their winner after not having played.
Beat Giggs with the stick when Davies makes a mistake, and then beat him with the same stick when Taylor makes a mistake. The reality is both players are fallible at the end of the day.
When both are fit Davies plays every single day of the week, but he wasn't fit tonight so there's no discussion to be had here.

Agree with this - Taylor was terrible, but we shouldn't forget that davies cost us out in hungary and he was clearly not sharp at all when he came on tonight!

That was bloody atrocious.
It was still wrong to bring him off for Davies though. What was Giggs trying to achieve?

I hope I never see him in a welsh shirt again. He is an accident waiting to happen Andorra Ireland Tonight 3 calamaties off the top of my head There were three calamaties in 30 secs in this game alone; 1. awful (simple 5 meter) pass 2. half hearted attempt to bring the player down after the shocking pass 3. stopping thinking and playing after Hennessey's clown juggling act, watching the player in point 2 above having a simple tap in.

Came on as a sub yesterday at fault for both of the goals.
I cant believe he is still getting game time in the epl.
