Absolutely, can't fault Bellamy's total commitment to the cause. The fact that he is still fired up at 31 with several failures to qualify behind him speaks a heck of a lot about his self-belief and confidence. I wish we could have injected some of his genes into those gutless punks Koumas and Davies. Bellamy should be the one out of all them retiring early to prolong his club career. Bellers could have stayed and picked up his wedge at Man City but dropped down a level to play first team football. As long as he is playing he is happy- THATS the sort of example to set to youngsters, not the likes of Giggs who is happy to quit Wales so he can sit on a bench well into 40s.

Dave Jones has no power to stop Bellamy joining up with the squad. Let him moan as much as he wants, the fact is Cardiff are incredibly lucky to have attracted a player of his quality in the first place.

i hope hes fit. if hes fit we have a big chance of getting 3 points over a half decentish team. this is finland home part 2. i would say if we lost the game its all over.
a draw and an amazing performace would at least give optimism for future. we need a win tho. bellars i hope u will be fit.

He might be fit by the double header but fit enough for 2 games in 4 days? He'll play vs Bulgaria but won't make it for the Swiss game is my prediction

Ideal would be him in starting line up with bale, we really go for it against bulgaria, could be 2-0 up after 60 mins, take him and bale off then maybe, keep them for swiss.
perfect that would be, however we all know being a wales fan it doesnt go swimingly like that.

If he's not 100% fit, I'd keep him on the bench with a view to using him as an impact sub.
Coming on with 20 minutes to go against the tiring Bulgarian centre-halves, I could see him getting some joy with his pace.

I'm not going to join in on the DJ is a tosser thread because I don't think he is. He's just doing his job really. If Bellamy is fit to play, he will. Its an advantage theres no travel involved (Bulgaria match at least). He'll be around at the training camp anyway so there will be ample time to assess things. My guess is he'll be named in the squad at least.

"It's pointless forcing the issue just to play the games and then be out another four or five"
Cardiff boss Dave Jones
Says it all really.

Isnt this a forum to discuss the wales team ? not Cardiff city. your country comes first. Cardiff have other players and are lucky to have him anyway. if the wales team doctors says hes fit, he will play. end of.
Dave Jones, a man who didnt play aaron ramsey in fa cup final.. says it all. and lost the play off final..

I was saying that looks like Dave Jones doesn't want him to play, not that I don't want him to play. I'm what you would call the opposite of a Cardiff fan.

Ok, so if Bellars isn't fit, should Flynn keep the same system we played in Montenegro with Cotterill or Robson-Kanu in the side on the right wing? Or go for 2 out and out strikers? (presumably 2 out of Morison, Church, Evans and Earnshaw)

apparently that twat in the western mail has said that bellamy is already ruled out?
even though hes due to play against barnsley this weekend?
if this is true, i think that its bang out of order, and if bellamy is not at least in our squad, then we need to think of other options as this could be scandalous.
he needs to be on our bench at the very least it seems to me that dave jones has it in for wales, and im sick of managers like this.

Bellers to miss BOTH games. Shite. Davies or Cotts to fill the right wing berth, then...

According to the Western Mail article Flynn has accepted Bellamy will not make it, which is very surprising really, especially if Bellamy is due to play on Saturday. I can't believe Flynn would just gve in so easily. Probably being misquoted as there's nothing on the BBC about it yet. I hope so anyway!

i really hope it isnt true... i would be shocked if bellamy plays satarday, and is not even in our squad, wouldnt it be great if bellamy played the second half against bulgaria and was used as an impact sub in basel..
shows he's in for the shirt then..

We dont know the full story yet, its just speculation. Until a load of papers report it and not just one then you cant take it as definite.

As a Cardiff fan, I think you're all being a bit harsh here. The only person capable of stoping Craig playing for Wales is Craig. If he feels fit he will play if not then he won't.
Far biger managers than Dai jones have failed to stop him in the past.

i will lose a lot of respect for cardiff city fc, and bellamy, if he doesnt turn up for wales, and plays against barnsley / the game directly after the international break.
these 2 games are make and brake for wales. if we dont get 4 points, we're totally screwed. and its another long wait until another campaign.
Bellamy has done it all, expect propell us to greatness, priorities are your country. The weslh doctors should have the last say, however if flynn hasnt or isnt even including him in the squad, then i would argue this is a major early sign of weakness, and a potential downfall in flynn as future manager, if this is all true, i would see it as a negative on flynn as full time boss.

Again, if he feels fit to play then he will. If Jones had his way then he wouldn't have played against Montenegro but Bellers wanted to play so he did.

Fit to play ? if hes fit to be in cardiffs squad against barnsley. then hes fit to at least be in our squad for qualifiers? true or false?
i'd say if he dodges out, take captaincy off him

Before we start slagging of Bellamy/Cardiff let's see if he plays on Saturday.
Could be the usual rubbish from the Western Fail.

You're overeacting. Wait until 3pm Saturday before you decide to slag off Bellamy, my clubs manager and my club.
