If he plays against Barnsley then doesnt turn up for Wales then this is clearly out of order. I support Cardiff but I knew that Dave Jones would be a cock about this. He stopped Marshall joining up with the Scottish team and he didnt play in the league cup game for City because Craig Levein said he wouldnt be picked in the sqaud again if he did. Now Bellamy will play for his club and not for his country just cos Flynn and Jones "have had a chat"!! Its a joke. Would it happen for an English international? Would it fuck..

Cardiff to finish 7th? Wanting a Welsh club to fail? That's clever of you.
And what club do you support? Lord "bellamyforever"?

simple if he plays for cardiff against barnsley and is not even an impact sub for us in 2 games.
id fuck flynn off, hes not up for this one bit, hes our only one of 2 world class players with bale... and without him its gonna be twice as hard.
flynn is a total pussy.
cardiff are greedy bastards.

yes Bellamy can be world class at times...but on the other hand is he a good influence on the team/squad? Flynn would know this sort of thing first hand......
Also he might not be that bothered as and it may be chance for him to really get to grips with the strikers he's used for the under 21's, which more often than not repaid Flynn with great performances?! I doubt very much that Flyn would give into Dave Twat Jones, as after all Bellamy is'nt Cardiffs player...he's only there on loan .........hmm........

FFS wait until saturday, then you can start arguing again. If he's injured Flynn, Bellamy and Jones cant do anything about it. And if anyone thinks Bellamy isn't commited to Wales they are funking mental. I still think he should be there with Wales during the games, because he is a leader. He needs to be there even if he cant play.

I very much doubt Bellamy will even be on the bench for Cardiff Saturday. Its disappointing but hey, what can you do? I like the way Flynn has just said we'll have to get on with it. Morison and Church up top in a 4-4-2? Cotterill or Robson-Kanu on the right wing? I still feel we have a great chance of beating Bulgaria.

i cant see Bellamy playing on Saturday then not playing for wales,it doesn't fit in with his previous behaviour at all. saying that,if flynn has rolled over easily with this then whats to stop other managers thinking flynn is an easy touch? Redknapp and the likes would eat flynn for breakfast. im not writing flynn off but maybe we need a stronger, more assertive manager(this is,of course,if the rumours are true)

There's no way Bellars will play on Saturday and not be involved with Wales at all for the 2 upcoming games. If he does play at all on Sat, fine, you can all have a go at Flynn for being 'weak' or whatever... but lets all just calm down till then, eh?

The BBC have attributed a quote to Flynn where he intimates that he sat down and had a nice cosy chat with old Dave about Bellamys future.
This attitude of appeasement towards club managers is wrong, they are not going to help us at all and there are rules to protect our ability to call a player up and independently assess them. As its Bellamys knees it makes sense not to take any risks, but Im sure our medical people are capable of working that out. Ill bet that as all Dave has had to do is have a chat and Flynn has given up without a fight he thinks of this as a victory for him against the forces of darkness, ie international football.
If Flynn allows himself to be a soft touch then where will it stop?
The quote: ""I had a really long, excellent conversation with Dave Jones just over 10 days ago... and we made the decision that Craig will not be available due to his fitness. "He has an ongoing knee problem and hasn't played for the last five games. "Obviously we've been aware of that and unfortunately for Craig and for us he won't be able to put on a red shirt next week. "It's a big disappointment for me as caretaker manager. I wanted Craig in the team but these things happen."
Way too soft.

maybe after losing a few players(and games) flynn would have learned the hard way that he needs to lose his 'nice guy' image if he is to be a sucess at international level.as i said earlier ,IF this is true then club managers will be celebrating flynn getting the job like all their christmas' come early.

I'm no lover of Cardiff and Bellars is a bellend. However the guy is class and as patriotic as anyone posting here. I can see D Jones point of view, he wants CCFC going up, thats his job and I'm sure most Cardiff fans are happy with Bellars being rested.
However he cant play prior to the Bulgaria game, if he does he's a Judas and finished in my opinion and this has got nothing to do with CCFC or Jones (even Sparky was a wanker over Bellars), Bellars is his own man, that much is apparent.
Moreover, Bellars is 31 and gets injured too often. On top of this he is a disruptive element, would you want to play with him whingeing and whining all the time, it's negative. So perhaps Flynny doesn't mind too much, perhaps as someone else said he'd rather have his protogees up front instead.
I trust in Bellars to do the right thing for Wales but either way he's very close to his sell by date.

it will be a real shame if bellars undoes years of loyalty and commitment by playing for cardiff on saturday and not playing for wales.unfortunately that is what he'd be remembered for.

Bellars has got to have the balls to admit it to himself. If he can't cope with his knee then there's no shame in that. He might get an extra year at club level then. We all know his injuries are real, it's not like the Giggs scenario. There'll come a time when he can't please his employers and his country. That's reality. I just want him to be honest and I'm sure he will be.

I want Cardiff to do well and bring through plenty of young Welsh talent, but can't help thinking if Cardiff make it to the Premiership (and stick around) then pretty soon they will start talking about leaving the FAW and joining the FA. How's that good for Welsh football?

How's that good for Welsh football? Why don't the FAW let Cardiff or Swansea have a chance at European football? We'd have a much better chance of the group stages than any of the LOW teams, now that would be good for Welsh football. The English FA are bringing in new rules so that if a Welsh team wants to compete in the English top flight then they have to come under their FA.
