Hasn't been given a chance at Bristol city. Why? Who knows he's clearly good enough to play at champ level

really like the look of Morrell - and i'm hoping he can grow into our next Joe Allen. Being a short-ass myself i always have soft spots for the shorter players. And this quote sums up perfectly how most little players (Including myself) approached games: “Ever since then I’ve overcompensated and made sure I’m the most horrible person on the pitch, the most aggressive on the pitch, the person on the pitch with the most personality.”
Having watched Bristol City a few times this season it beggars belief how they haven't brought him back from his loan.

Really good listen this - Morrell & Page discussing a variety of things. From involvements in the youth squads, how they keep dual-qualified players, Morrell's pathway into the first team etc.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNkKsPiDjtY&t=29s

I had a good feeling about him after his debut, then he played a blinder in Azerbaijan. One of the first names on the team sheet atm.
Mark Pembridge the second.

Got to wonder what they are doing at Bristol City if he doesn't get a starting place next season.

Got to wonder what they are doing at Bristol City if he doesn't get a starting place next season. Surely he starts. You'd be thinking clubs might start taking a look at him if he keeps playing like this for us. He put in a Premier League quality performance last night - I could see him doing well in a side like Leeds

He's 100% a championship standard midfielder, he was player of the year for Lincoln last season and been great for us. If he isn't in Bristol's plans, he really should move on. He'd certainly be a useful option at swansea!

He's Championship standard, but there's a lot of competition at Bristol City, particularly in that area, so he may well struggle for games there.
He might be best off looking for a move to another Championship side before the end of the window.

Mawson doesn't start either today, potentially for the same reasons. I hope that's it anyway.

Not in the squad for their Carabao Cup game tonight. The FlashScore app has marked him down under "missing players" so I assume that means he's injured/unavailable?

Yeah he would have been involved in one of the last two games if he was fit - must be injured. Hope he's back in time for the international break

4 Welsh starters for Stoke today, but Joe not even in the squad? Injured - probably a decent chance he'll miss this next international break for us due to lack of sharpness. Could be quite a problem for us, but I expect Ampadu to definitely be playing in midfield

Allen, Morrell and Matt Smith are all going to be lacking match sharpness.
Ampadu surely nailed on to be in midfield, Vaulks and Levitt probably in best contention to play alongside him.

Could really do with him recovering in time for the triple header. He's been a standout performer for me in the last 5 matches.

Joe being linked with a move to Luton Permanent? He's good enough to play for Bristol, what are they playing at? I was reading the Bristol forum, and his family are quite pissed with his treatment and lack of chances at Bristol.

Regular Championship football is what's needed for him this season. If it's Bristol or Luton I wouldn't care but it's harsh from Bristol. Luton is more convenient so I can tune in every now and then and watch 3 Welsh players at the same time!

Great move imo. Much better than staying in Bristol with loads of competition. I doubt Luton will get relegated either with Nathan Jones’ mojo working.
Now for Wilson, Smith and Woodburn to escape before friday too.
