Gareth Bale says he is fit to play for Wales friday, if he is picked Hahaha the lad is so humble that he won't even publically take his place in the team for granted. The stage is set for Coleman now to pick Church ahead of Bale (based on form) and leave the most expensive player in the world on the bench Seriously though, great news that he is fit. A timely boost for the squad.

I have a theory that they will try not to play Bale in Macedonia, we may see 20 mins if we aren't winning which is a strong possibility.
The reason, Bale is on a yellow card so the FAW will be desperate for him not to get booked to boost sales for the Serbia game, even if he only plays a small part then.
Gunter, Ashley Williams and Vokes are on yellow cards and Robson-Kanu suspended for Macedonia
On a side note if Williams gets a booking will he call up Collins?

Quite possible - I think a draw would be viewed as a good result, so Bale on circa 65-70 minutes to either get us level, or maybe get a winner, makes sense. I'm not sure whether Collins would get called up, neither am I sure he would turn up.

Is it just me...
I can't wait for the international break to be over so I can see Bale fly the Wales flag at Madrid.
I've never even wanted an international break to be over before, but now with the shambles we're in, and the Bale situation, I can't wait to see him play for Madrid, and play in the champions league again 3 days after. I read an article the other day about people going off supporting teams, and are now supporting individual athletes, and its so true for me, Wales always has and always will come first, but lets be honest, we're not going to qualify with Coleman, so lets just enjoy watching Bale be successful (hopefully) for the next 2 years!

Yeah I feel the same. Bale is so committed to Wales and that has endeared me to his club career. To the extent that I am on the lookout here in Spain for somewhere where I can get a Bale Real Madrid shirt (which won't be cheap) and I hate Real Madrid!
He ticks all the boxes, for me. Such a model professional and a great standard for international football, I find it hard to fault him. If anything I feel bad for him having to play for a national side run by monkeys and played by monkeys. He is going to end up carrying us and its unfair on him for us to do the classic Giggs bollocks of "give it to Bale, he will sort it all out".
I also must say that although it was a tough call I think Coleman made the right one in not playing Bale. I am sure we would have done so if the risks were not great, but in this particular circumstance he's just been sold for a lot of money and hasn't made his debut yet. Woe betide us if we had brought him on and he had got injured. The important thing for me is that Bale turned up and trained, he will no doubt have wanted to play and that is good enough for me.

The English papers would be the first ones to say "you shouldn't have played him!!!1" if they did and he got injured. Roy hodgson would be accused of pissing on the dreams of future England sides by potentially ruining Rooney's career by playing him when unfit.

He should never have been called up in the first place. Had he played for Madrid, even for a few minutes, then yes he should have, but in this unique situation, he shouldn't have.

Had he not been called up he'd have trained with a couple of Spanish players who don't get call-ups (Spanish Steve Bruces if you will) and some kids; he probably wouldn't have got much fitter. This way, he trained in a more competitive environment, away from (relatively fewer) prying eyes and got a run out. If anything we've done Ancelotti a favour. Hopefully it stands us in good stead for the months ahead

he should of played 15-20 mins in Macedonia, which could easily have seen a different result. He should then of played at least the first 45 mins against Serbia
