Well, if you look specifically at Legg and Powell, they are currently the managers at part time football clubs and Newport county are now fully professional, so that alone suggets it would be a step up on the ladder. I know some WPL teams are part time but don't forget Bangor only lost 350 nil in Helsinki this year. We cant match that. I was being sarcastic mate, that post was for the benefit of the trueblood Welshman who hates Newport and who lives in London and supports Palace.

From BBC 55 applied for the psoition and Hudson was appointed.
Either the board were searching for a needle in a haystack or used a needle.
Sack the board! Incompetence is the word that comes to mind.
Was Holdsworth the only one holding the club together?

Where was it you live again, London? Who is it you support again, Crystal Palace? Is your wife/boyfriend English too? Glass houses anyone? Hey Raptor don't live in London, live in Croydon this is due t my career path so follow my local team most weeks, but when I can will watch Wrexham if they are in the south east & Bangor when im home in Wales & our national team,CPFC ave more Welsh players in their squad than Newport (FACT) who are after all in Wales allegedly that is not right & proper situation is it ?, if clubs like Newport don't start giving Welsh players a chance what hope is their f the future of our international team. Why Raptor are their no players from Newport County in any of the Welsh representative teams then? Actually my Mrs is english & so are the kids but they do speak Welsh fluently & are proud of their welsh heritige unlike a fair few of my fellow countrymen. HOWS YOUR BOYFREIND THEN RAPTOR ;D ;D ;D

HOWS YOUR BOYFREIND THEN RAPTOR ;D ;D ;D Just did a quick check on Wiki. Palace actually have 1 Welshman, the other 3 are Anglos If Wiki is wrong then please inform despite your shy nature. We have Pipe, Hughes, Newman and Greening..so that NCFC 4 CPFC 1 Hughes is in the u23 National Squad, so you're wrong again. So you support Palace, Wrexham, Bangor anyone else, that's some portfolio you got going there, you should be able to fashion an argument against a Barcelona fan soon with all those options. I speak some Welsh despite being born in the South East, I went out of my way to learn it, my kids speak a bit too. I also speak Welsh to some of my Welsh speaking patients in work and have instegated Welsh Language classes for those patients who don't speak Welsh. I have promoted the language whereas you have followed the coin and forgot your roots. I bet you go around saying 'apples and pears, and 'dog and bone' and all that rhyming stuff dont you. Helsinki 10 Bangor 0, now fack orf me old china.

Steady manager, tended to be win one, draw two, lose one. However, too big a boozer, if rumours are true and vastly unpopular amongst staff.

Won't go to see them this season, home or away, until things are sorted out and therfe is a clear direction at the club. The board have made poor decisions definately. But in the real world unless you got someone ready to step in then sacking the board is all bollx I'm afraid. The club doesn't run itself. People forget we only have one or two paid employees if you forget the footballers. These one or two cant do everything that is wanted by the fans. See the difference between us and Wrexham, they had 115 employess, no wonder there was money problems. The WST will have to make redundancies or Wrexham will sink fast.

Helsinki 10 Bangor 0, now fack orf me old china. T right I ave followed the coin & better for it as well, but will never forget me roots as I am frequently up in Wales looking after my portfolio. Is it such a crime t follow your local team then?,and give support t Wrexham & Bangor like I used t when I lived in Wales. Looked at the Newport website why do they give for example Newman and Greening nationalities as British & not welsh then?, no problems with Pipe or Hughes they are defo welsh but under 23's hardly count as youth does it. www.newport-county.co.uk/index.php?p=playerprofilesNever trust that wiki actually their are two welsh born guys in the palace squad, Price & Easter & Dorman was born in Chester but raised in Flintshire but as anyone who knows the area can tell you this is due t a lack of maternity units & other NHS services in general in them areas im sure otherwise he would been welsh born & that's because all the funding is concentrated in the south but williams is an anglo & well done f your efforts with the welsh language. But in the words of our Chaz & Dave Raptor why dont you give it a rest?, you got more rabbit than sainsburys ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................with your excessive talkin, your becoming a pest, yup yup rabbit yup yup yup rabbit rabbit bunny jabber yup rabbit bunny yup yup yup rabbit bunny jabber yup yup yup rabbit bunny jabber yup yup bunny jabber rabbit ;D ;D ;D

I'd go for Steve Burr of Kidderminster but we would have to buy out his contract and he might not want it anyway.
Kiddy have no ambition though.
Proven track record in the conference.
If we gamble and fail on another rookie or someone without conference experience we'll be down for sure. The Darlo defeat today proves we're conference cannon fodder at present. Darlo are a polished turd too.

First choice would have been Burr of Kiddy but that appt was unlikely on a lot of counts. Edinburgh was the only other real option when looking for someone with Conference experience. I'm happy, no one can say anything other than this is a very good appt. However, it's what happens now that counts.

Been down to watch them a few times althought last game was home to York last season.
Saw them play quite a few away games in the Conference South over the years as there are a few teams in the league around this way. Not the same in the Conference.
Know a few County fans thru following Wales away. Good bunch.

County's ten goal midfielder Danny Rose on trial at Palace this week.
Good player, not Aaron Ramsay but may cut it up there.
Good luck to him.
He's English!
The shame I feel!
