Only saw the 2nd half of this evenings game.
Lee was certainly throwing his weight about and not shy of a tackle or two.

Has become a fan's favourite, it appears ;-)

A regular in a top 6 side.

Must be in contention for the Spain match - surely?

Marley only played the last 30 minutes. Didn't really get the service.

Wigan v Villa ko is at 3pm

Wigan playing well and Neil failing to close down Lee for his peach of a cross/assist to make it 2-0.

Lee generally had very little to do defensibly, but certainly had 3 or 4 wonderful through balls.

Chester was as solid as usual.

Lee getting plenty of well deserved love of the Latics fans ;-)

He criticised Jackett on twitter then Jackett gave an interview explaining that he needs to change his attitude.  They must have had some sort of bust up presumably on not getting selected.  This makes me wonder if he's contacted Giggs to say he needs to be included, which has negatively affected his inclusion in subsequent squads.  Surely he would have at least been on standby if not the case. Pure speculation of course but if this is all wrong then he's being dealt a great injustice.

Evans hasn’t been in the squad since Giggs’ first I believe. I agree there must be a reason for this. Someone suggested earlier in the thread that Kenny Jackett thought Evans had delusions of grandeur. Maybe he wasn’t conducive to positive squad dynamics?

That was me! I read about a spat between Jackett and Evans and Jackett said he needs to change his attitude if he wants to kick on.

Interesting that Giggs hasn’t mentioned him in his squad announcements either, it seems as though he does want to sweep it under the carpet for whatever reason.

Its just the usual forum gossip at this stage. I'd like to see him selected in this squad, especially with Ledley and King unavailable. If he isn't then Giggs needs to be asked why.

Anyway there's a chance to see Lee in action tonight as Wigan take on Derby on Sky Sports.

Would love to see a heat chart for Lee, as he seems to be a total ball magnet - an ever constant, in the Joe Allen mold ;-)

Closing down tirelessly and throwing himself on all the County efforts.

Harry is trying his best, but looks frustrated and had one free kick from 25m sail 2m over the cross bar...

Harry got booked for a blatant dive in 2nd half.

County started playing after about 60' and ended up winning 2-1.

Can't honestly credit Harry with that, though. Been fairly quiet, by his high standard.

Lee carried on playing with heart and passion, but less effective in the 2nd half.

Probably one of our more underrated players.
I saw him play a couple of times for Sheffield United and he was very good, I was surprised to see him leave.

With Ampadu out, surely Evans has to be selected for the Slovakia sqad?
