Was transferred from Newport County to Wolves, still only 18.
I don't want to stick my neck out too far but he's decent, good technique and looks like a man playing a man's game and not a youngster.
Perhaps this has already been mentioned.

On standby for 21s recent squad too. I was very surprised he was only on standby tbh. I would say he was in front of let's say Ledley at a similar age. Not the same type of player exactly but Evans looks much more robust. I suppose at 18 he's got a lot of opportunity for the u21's.

Nice one raptor - playing for Wolves hasn't done past and present Welsh players any harm at all - anybody else from NCFC who also could be on the fringes of the U21's?

Nah, not anyone young breaking through at the moment, it's the business end of the season now so there wont be anyone if there is anyone given a chance.

Our U21s look like they should have a good campaign. Loads of Welsh youngsters in and around the first teams of championship and league one clubs.

The guy at the game for sky seemed to rate him. I think he's going to have a great season. Proud that he's from the port!

Either way, it is excellent news that he is having a great start to the season. Yet another option for us. A lot of Welsh players seem to be involved with Wolves. Do they have a strong scouting network in Wales?

Lots of acclaim for his performance today. Surely he has to start for the u21s Wednesday?

Bradley Reid just signed by Wolves from Wrexham for reportedly £200k, although we may be taking him back on loan.
Only 17, and one of the few positives in wrexhams poor start to the season. Already capped at U19 level.

Always good to see young players coming through an he seems to be making the most progress among the youngsters. Regular player in a wolves team who are doing well in championship. Also seems like he is a stand out player in welsh u21 side. Anyone know more about him like could he push on to be a good prem midfielder as still only 20 I believe. Jake Taylor at reading also seems to be doing well, anyone know much about him.

Surely deserves a call up tomorrow?
(btw- when did Newport county last 'produce' a Wales player? Paul Bodin?)

Steve Lowndes and Nigel Vaughan.
County get a pay out if Evans is capped.

Steve Lowndes and Nigel Vaughan. County get a pay out if Evans is capped. If it was his grandfather getting a payout he would have been capped by now.;-)

Very unlucky for young Lee Evans who has been on brilliant form in the Championship.
It's only a matter of time before he wins his first cap.
