Does anyone know why he was not involved in any of the Welsh squads?
Thankfully he tweeted a positive message of support.
Can you imagine in 2 to 4 years if our striker weakness is settled? Assuming they continue developing, we could have Roberts and Wilson up front, supported by Bale and Ramsey! WOW

He tweeted this last night: "Cant wait to meet up for the euros"
I presume this is for our u21s, does anyone know when the squad is announced?

Good lad, I reckon he is invested enough. We are going places now, I suspect that will 'concentrate the minds' of any of our yoof that might previously had doubts about their allegiance.

Don't think Roberts has ever indicated he might play for England?

He came out with a cracking quote a year or so ago about his roots being Welsh. I can't remember it word for word but indicated he was in for the long haul

The lob over the keeper in Albion's away kit was superb.

Agreed, top notch stuff. But in many ways the composure he showed in controlling the ball at the far post before smashing it in says more about his character. He could so easily have tried to snatched at the finish. That was sheer class.

We should be playing Tyler Roberts in the upcoming games before France.
He is obviously highly rated by the Wales coaching staff, so why waste time on someone playing for Walsall.
Im sure Toshack & Flynn would have played him by now.

If Roberts was as good as the hype on here I'm pretty sure he'd be with the under 21s at the very least. Getting way ahead of ourselves if we think he'll be anywhere near the squad for France.

He's not with any of the age grade teams but according to another poster on here has been training with the senior squad. I think Coleman has designs for Roberts which could see him being involved with the senior squad in an official capacity at some point prior to the Euros.

From Tyler Roberts' Twitter - "Gutted to be ruled out of the Euro's through injury? β½οΈ" Thoughts?

From Tyler Roberts' Twitter - "Gutted to be ruled out of the Euro's through injury? β½οΈ" Thoughts? Means U17 Euro qualifiers which are starting this week. Blow for U17s of both Roberts and Cullen being injured.

I really don't like the sound of this tweet by Tyler Roberts: "Gutted to be ruled out of the Euros through injury". Anybody heard what his injury is, and is it really certain that he won't make the Euros?
In all honesty it would probably have come too soon for him anyway. But having said that I'm sure there will be some precocious talent on show from the other nations.

Good to hear. It's wishful thinking I guess that he could feature for us in the senior Euros - but it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

There really is no competition at the moment

... unfortunately so are Ben Davies and James Chester!
Rose making a couple of bad errors for the 5 mins or so I have watched!

Good, Davies and Chester won't be knackered for the Euros, Allen and Ledley too. Ashley Williams and Neil Taylor have had a very long and exhausting season though.
Nice to see Roberts on the bench again! He will be an important player for us

With West Brom now safe, will Roberts get some game time before the end of the season? I hope so

The Spurs manager has made clear his preference for Rose, rightly or wrongly. This has left Davies missing out on valuable game time and no doubt impacted on his development. I see Rose is quick, committed and skillful, but he is a bit uncontrolled and makes mistakes / poor decisions. I bet as soon as Davies leaves his standard will slip.

Yeah, swap CL football next year and being a member of an exciting young squad under a progressive, imaginative young manager for mid-table mediocrity at, say, Southampton or Everton Depends if you think he can develop more on a bench or on a pitch. Champions league football is all well and good if you are picked to play in those games. There is a lot of criticism of Rose on here yet he has won and England cap and made the team of the year. He is not going away in a hurry and Davies will be second fiddle to him next season. If there is any Champions league football to be played Rose will be playing it. Davies could do worse next season if he moved, but he could also do a lot better.

It's up to Davies to prove he can match or better Rose and force his way into the Spurs team. I think a year while Spurs are in the CL could be a key character building period for Davies - does he buckle and leave, or does he show he's good enough for the very top level. We'll all learn a lot about him from him staying at Spurs, which is almost certainly what he will do.

Just a suggestion but could Davies and Allen sign for Leicester? Cheap enough for them while being excellent acquisitions to strengthen the squad and share out game time.
