Where do they play the home games? I think they spread the games around the country. I know they played in haverfordwest not so long ago. The first 2 games are away to Kazakhstan and Russia which makes it a difficult start to the group. A win against Kazakhstan and a draw in Russia would be a superb start. The group winners qualify automatically and the four best runner ups enter a two-legged play off. A good excuse for those who like to travel to go to Kazakhstan.

Going to get battered now I know, but I loathe the whole notion of woman's football where it is now.
Been living here in the US for 15 years and played "co-ed" its horrible.
I've more interest in...Crop ration in the 15th century.

History and society has made us think like that, but I do believe that, like the WPL, many people have a stigma against Women's football without actually giving it a chance! You do get good standard and good games in Women's football, and I think we should support our national team!

www.faw.cymru/en/news/ludlow-world-cup-draw-its-great-opportunity/It would be great if we could give the girls our support. The majority of us are totally against a Team GB women's side, we should support Wales. So let's try and help crowd numbers at games, even if only 5 of us convince a few family and friends to come along then it would be something. I wonder if S4C can get the rights to show the games... Wales in a great position after the opening two away matches. Hopefully we can get a big crowd against Kazakhstan in Cardiff next month.

You said it ;-) For those of you (like me) that didn't realise it ... the actual World Cup finals will be in ... FRANCE in 2019. If anyone needs any motivation to go to the Friday match v Kazakhstan, then how about another Summer in: NICE, MONTPELIER and GRENOBLE et al ? Sadly, the two semi-finals and the final itself will all be played in Lyon ... But quality football will be poor (the technical skills, footwork is decent, defending is woeful). Prefer see the youth teams play, they play a far higher level of football (in general).

Great to see that adidas has responded to demand and are producing Wales kits in women's sizes.
FeWales has been doing very well in terms of demand for Wales t-shirts in women's sizes - so the demand is obviously there.

I think it's just the Lower Grandstand on sale so far, with limited availability in the blocks between the half way line and the Canton. A quick seat count suggests there are around 70 tickets left in total in that section, so those blocks could sell out by the weekend. I think Wales got a record crowd of 4,000 for the game with England in the last campaign. Well on course to beat that figure with a week to go. I reckon there must be at least 3,000 sold already.

Record for a Wales home international is 3581 (v England in 2014). That attendance could well be passed tomorrow night. By contrast Wales got a crowd of 800 v Belarus for the opening home match of the last World Cup campaign. Tomorrow should be at least five times that.

Good to see lots of Wales away regulars there.
