Cardiff v Sunderland, Sunderland going for promotion from Division Two (now Championship) appeared to have all four sides of Ninian Park, didn't seem to be any Cardiff fans there at all.

Are we expecting tickets for the home game.v Estonia in Sept to go on sale soon? I expect the FAW will tread cautiously, but I can't see why they wouldn't allow full capacity.
Reckon the FAW will do a 3 game TT?

Now that alert level 0 is confirmed from tomorrow, I imagine ticket information for Estonia will be out next week. Selling at full capacity.

Maybe slightly off topic and sorry if I've missed a previous post on this, but are we expected to play friendlies in October and November and if so does anyone know/willing to guess the potential dates?

I don't think so? 3 matches are required by UEFA in the September break. 2 in October and 2 in November?

I reckon the FAW should organise a friendly against Italy in Rome so we can use our hotel vouchers.Haha.

Would also work well to sort priority if we're playing in the playoffs in March, where everyone will want a ticket.

As someone posted above, there are only 2 dates in October and 2 in November, so no more friendlies for us this year other than Finland.
30 days until home v Estonia, Wednesday 8th Sept. I'm optimistically hoping for a full house at CCS but something tells me the reason tickets aren't yet on sale is due to ongoing discussions between FAW and WG re: capacity restrictions.

Following the poor take-up from the Albania friendly, I just don't see a full house happening against Estonia. Tickets are becoming rather short notice, especially for those up North who need to take holidays to make the game. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised though.

Perhaps you are right, it was more a question of do you think all 33k tickets will be put on sale, or will they be reduced due to Covid. For Albania, I think the testing, staged ticket release, short notice, electronic tickets all contributed to poor sales.

Why would the national side have capacity restrictions but not the club sides? The clubs are restricted. Swansea are only having 16k capacity for the two home games in August. Cardiff had social distancing in the Grandstand upper tier, presumably there was a capacity limit in place with this in mind, but wasn't worth making public. The plan is, as long as the situation doesn't get any worse, the Liberty will be back full for September.

For the Estonia game, I doubt we'll sell more than 20k on a Wednesday night anyway, even if all tickets go on sale.

No away fans at international matches in September - announced by FIFA yesterday. Not sure what will be the case in October.

How do we think the squad will look like for the qualifiers and friendlies in a few weeks?
What's Levitt up to? I've seen DS reporting potential loan moves but nothing has come to fruition.

Yes - such a shame King wasn't playing ahead of the Euros
He is not top notch but would have given a much more solid presence than Morrell, as would Vaulks.
Hopefully people will realise that when players like Morrell and Williams drop down to the third and fourth divisions in England there is a reason for it. That is not to underestimate how amazingly they have done for Wales when called upon, especially Williams. However, it reflects the fact that with Williams there was an obvious lack of end product, as one can see for his goal and assist return, and Morrell was an obvious weak link in our team up against the top nations such as Denmark and Italy.
If WIlliams had stayed in the Championship somehow, then he could have remained a squad option. We have to be ruthless, if you play at that level your games will deteriorate - time to move on. Weirdly enough he was very productive in our double header vs Bulgaria!

How do we think the squad will look like for the qualifiers and friendlies in a few weeks? I would line up like this for Belarus; Ward Neco-Mepham-Rodon-Davies Ampadu Brooks-Ramsey Bale-Tyler-James I want to see whether a 4-3-3 and ore of a ball-playing striker would make us more fluid against an opposition that is somewhat limited. Can always bring Moore on if it's not working For the wider squad I'd be looking at including Brennan, B.Cooper and possibly Woodburn
