Have watched this multiple times, absolutely amazing!! Any idea who starts singing hymns and arias towards the end?? The togetherness in this squad always seems to be so high, regardless of what players are in the squad. Can you imagine the uproar in the stands if there were fans in Sofia to witness that.

Remember that night in Glasgow well. At half time the Scots thought they had it in the bag with Bale going off. Jonny turned the game around. Can't believe that cold night in Glasgow was eight years ago. Was anybody else on that flight from Cardiff that made several attempts to land in the snow?

I think Bowyer has managed him well. He's nursed him through a couple of seasons after his career had been totally savaged by injuries. He's now focused on motivating him to really focus on improving his end product. Since he's said this in public Jonny has had an assist & and a goal for us, and now scored for Charlton. You have to say hats off to Bowyer he's done us a huge favour with Jonny, as well as with Gunter & Levitt
Re: the goal, it's actually a brilliant run & Jonny's instinct to hit the box as soon as the ball went wide is brilliant to see - great coaching there!

Yes please! It would make up for hiring McCarthy if we get Jonny out of it!

As long as Mick’s plan involves both Wilson and Joniesta in the starting XI I’ll be supportive of the move.
Got to fear for Mark Harris’ game time though. Particularly if this deal goes through.

If it comes off then this will be his big chance. Hope he delivers!
There seems to have been a big shift towards Wales' players at Cardiff recently?

He would fit in perfectly at Cardiff given he spends half his time injured.

I don't think its Cardiff buying Welsh players rather them signing them as they are available. Vaulks and Moore got relegated. Williams worked with MM elsewhere. Harris was a fan of HW who smashed up the championship in 18-19.

Well it's a combination of Cardiff having to wait for the right deals to come up seeing as they are not a particularly rich club, and a definite shift in policy. It was needed, as the whole point in having a Welsh club high up in the English system is exposure for Welsh players. The way we were under Warnock with Jazz being the only Welsh player, who never played anyway, it was embarrassing. I loved Warnock but we can't be the Welsh capital & not have any Welsh players, especially when there are so many good Welsh players in the football league system
It really disenfranchised me from the club for a bit, but I'm more interested now we have signed a few Welsh players & more Welsh players are coming up the youth ranks. Swansea have been brilliant at it and Cardiff should be equally as good, no excuses!

That's a shame he's had such a stop-start career. Hopefully he can just find a team and get a good season under his belt playing regularly

Would definitely take Hal Robson-Kanu at the Swans, really need players in attacking areas. His company is an official sponsor for the Swans as well which might help move things along. Felt Swansea should've signed him after the tournament 2016 in all honesty.

A shame but I think his level at club football is League One. He may still do well for us on the international stage, but there's every chance he will be superseded by the likes of Colwill and Brennan

I always thought it was unfair Palace didn't really give Jonny Williams a chance in the Prem, I think he'd suit that level. More time on the ball, better players around him + more protection from referees, but they probably overlooked him because of his size + injuries at the time... I'm glad he's appreciated by his country, remember he started the 1st game in euro 2016 and put a top performance in!
If the Swans want to return to being a good possession based side they'd do well to get Joniesta!

Pedri is a poor man's Joniesta (only joking) similar style though.
I wonder if we can utilise Joniesta Vs Turkey.

Legendary individual, I hope he is given an opportunity over the next two games - he brings something different to the table. I've always loved this team photo with him and Kieffer in the middle:
