He should stay at Palace and try and establish himself in the team next season. There's no point going to a big club to sit on the bench (see Bostock)

I think he should stay at Palace for 1 or 2 seasons, then move to Arsenal.

Too many rush off too soon. Johnathan Williams might consider establishing himself in the 1st team with Crystal Palace next season and only move when he can step into the first team of a team higher up the leagues at that time if that is what he wishes. Then again the Saudi Arabians might buy Crystal Palace and buy all those players at so called BIGGER clubs and then Crystal Palace will be a BIG club. Apart from the CASH being at a BIG club is not all its made out to be when you are on the bench or in the seconds. Surely being a footballer is all about playing, improving yourself and the team and not being at a BIG club for the sake of being at a BIG club. People say Joe Allen will automatically leave if Liverpool come calling because of the CASH and the chance to be at a .....BIG club. We will see if there is more to it than greed. I expect Allen would stay if the chance arises in the summer.

Just signed a deal to stay at palace til 2017. Clever boy, it's not a bad place to learn his trade. Plenty of game time next season I hope.

He missed the last few games of the season with hamstring injury, but should be good next season
He supports Palace & his parents are not so greedy/selfish as some & knows if he stays at Palace f a few more seasons he can progress, unlike that John Bostock

Pretty sure he'll be giving Mexico in NY a miss. Maybe he'll be fit for Bosnia though.

I keep hearing about epl sides being linked to their players, hopefully they won't all get bought up over the summer.

Yes ,hopefully improve on this seasons league position & another good cup run ( if JW stays fit), bring into the first team the many more talented youth we have at palace & promotion t the EPL the season after. J W & Zaha are on long term contracts as well as most of the talented youth players but we may lose Nathanial Clyne he is out of contract

I've seen 1 of the best players to come from the Palace youth set up in the last eight years, Victor Moses play for you then, Wigan against the Swans in the last two to three years. Completely bullied Angel Rangel on the occasions I've seen him and I hope Joniesta is along similar teritory to him in terms of how he plays!

----------- good to see him back. Hope it hasn't been rushed though becasue I was expecting him to be out a bit longer.

From Crystal Palace Message Board...
"The only good thing to come out of last night was seeing him back in the team .He did not stop working last night when others with more experience could'nt be bothered. He has to be the first name on the team sheet on saturday."
"Vital he stays fit. I am a bit worried that he has been picking up these muscle injuries since returning from the broken leg, but we need him right now. Pre-season he stood out a mile."
With Vaughan, Collison and Joe Ledley looking likely too miss the Belgium and Serbia games then i would 100% call up Jon Williams, we've given younger talented players opportunity to play in the past, Coleman should just include him in the squad at least.
Possible midfield squad for both games - Joe Allen, Aaron Ramsey, Andy King, Andy Crofts, David Edwards, Jon Williams.
Probably what we'll play - Crofts holding, Allen and Ramsey in front of him.
What I think we should play - Allen holding, Ramsey and King/Edwards in front of him. then bring Joniesta on in the last quarter too see how he does, give him experience etc. ;D ;D

llannerch described the thought of Crofts trying to deal with Hazard as 'hilarious'. Personally I would use the word 'terrifying'...

Seems to be 1 of the best players currently in a Leicester side that has struggled the last two to three matches. Still terrified of him having to mark Hazard, but not as much as I would be if it was Crofts.

I'd play only Allen CDM, then King and Ramsey in front of Joe Allen. Agreed with that team, it's obviously vital that Bellamy and Bale play their best possible games against Belgium and Serbia, Steve Morison must start up-front.

I see deep lying midfielder as his best position. Read Steve Claridge's scouting report again: www.guardian.co.uk/sport/blog/2009/feb/03/king-claridge-scouting-report He provides a goal threat with clever runs FROM DEEP, and at set peices too. And he's taller and better in the air than Crofts, which, when you look at the height of some of the the Belgians could be crucial. Some quality clips of King here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NawlDoMFa-4

My first ever football match is one I cherish. I had begged my dad to take me to see a game for months, and he finally gave in with a ticket to see Wales v Belgium in 1993. A certain teenager made his full debut and rang rings around them (in my hazy memory) and got a deserved goal too. This started my love affair with Giggs and my love of Welsh football over club football. Now almost 20 years on, there are similarities with Jonathan Williams, albeit on a much smaller level. Why not though, with Bellamy absent, throw somebody who is quick, direct and 100% unknown to the opposition (I doubt they'd have been scouting at Palace) into the team? It'd be a risk I know, but I'd be over the moon to see him start tomorrow.
