She's half-English and she was raised in England. If she feels that her affinity is to England, or if she's one of those dual-national people who identifies with both countries, then fair enough, can't argue with that. Same with Christian Bale, born in Wales but has no affinity to us, always thought of himself as English and that's totally fine. Though it's obvious his good looks and talent were due to being raised on glorious Welsh soil.

How about Martin Margetson England's goalkeeping coach, formerly with Wales. Jumping around like something possessed yesterday.

He joined England because he wanted to succeed as England goalkeeping coach. Obviously celebrate when they do well but he entered negotiations wanting to see England succeed. I think heās more guilty than the Radio present being forced to celebrate England successes because they need to engage the listeners. Radio presenters, tv presenters etc could also be big enough to turn it down obviously but they got into that line of work to present news. Margetson did it to help England succeed, he is the biggest turncoat around.

Not sure how I feel about this one and whether Margetson's done anything wrong. However, that's hardly a valid comparison because conwy10 would presumably not have moved from representing his own country in a competition to another country.

Iāve refused to do stuff with the English FA before actually when I was coaching in England. It could have enhanced my position but not a chance Iām being associated with them. Iād be the biggest hypocrite in the world. And how much are we talking here? He would have been getting a healthy wage from the FAW. Heās been playing football and then became a coach, I doubt heās got a mortgage to pay. If youāre working for Ā£10 an hour and a company asked you to sell out your country for Ā£10.20 an hour would you do it? Money should only be a factor if you havenāt got any or are struggling to make ends meet.
