Dyche said he was ill, and that turned into an infection, but he's feeling better.
Sounds like sepsis or something to me. Hopefully he's on the mend now.

Arteta (and Martinelli) will be happy to see the back of him. Had a great defensive game and showed that he is up to 100% fitness with a couple of gut-busting runs in extra time.
I wish he stayed at the U23's for just one more game ')+

Full game against United. Did ok and improved a lot in the second half in an attacking sense. Could have done better for their goal. Playing in a back four which doesn't bring the best out of him I don't think but Premier League game time not to be sniffed at.

Seems to have gone under the radar a bit because his injury then illness delayed his involvement after signing for Burnley
But our Connor has firmly established himself as starting RB for Burnley, and with that has established himself as a Premier League player right before our playoffs. When he's on good form he's a really important player for us
Him and Neco being match fit is crucial for us ahead of March
He starts today against Liverpool!

Agree completely. Him. Amps and Neco getting plenty of game time is massive.
If only we had a midfield ;-)

Assisted Weghorst today apparently - will watch it on MOTD later
*Edit - also hit the bar before assisting Weghorst with a nice run in behind and cut back

Watched the burnley spurs game. Roberts was excellent. Dealt with Son and Sessegnon superbly all game, and was decent on the ball too. Thought Ben Davies played well too

The really frustrating thing with Burnley is that they had an absolutely fantastic chance to sort themselves out against Norwich and were outclassed by the worst side in the league. I hope for Roberts sake that they stay up, he deserves top flight football.

Anyone know the reason he's been subbed ? Must be tactical. Was starting as a wing back, he's been brought off for a CF, so they've gone to a back 4

Burnley have been an embarrassing mess, never has there been a season where it has been so easy to stay up and they've gone down losing home games to the likes of Villa and Newcastle who had nothing to play for. If I was Roberts I'd want out unless they put together a squad to get out of the Championship next season, he's coming into his prime years now.

Gutted for him. It's been hard today knowing either James or Roberts was heading down to the Championship, and I have to be honest, Roberts has been showing more capability to play at the top level, whilst James has been dwindling.
I can't see him moving on anytime soon though. Burnley will try and bounce straight back into the PL next season, so they will be doing their best to keep all their main assets.
