I still think Aaron Ramsey is a talented player. But to call Aaron ramsey a class player at the moment is a little over the top. hes a talent. but if hes going to be in bales league we shall see.
AND LET ME JUST POINT OUT BEFORE I GET SLAMMED , that i really hope he is going to be the midfield Xavi of our team for a decade i really do. just dont get high hopes. after that wanker fucked his leg.

That is the question..... Can't judge King on the Ireland game, it's possible he just had an off-night. Personally, I think he's worth a run against England. 15 Championship goals this season speaks a lot louder than one bad performance. Heck, our strikers would kill for that record. Maybe the solution is to play him just behind a main striker as part of a 4-5-1, with Ramsey, Ledley, Vaughan and AN Other behind. Hey that's my solution from a few weeks ago? Topic: Ray's say: "with Andy King doing a Tim Cahill playing off the Striker. King needs to be in the box a lot. " Great minds or gullible fools?

Good interview. Always liked Andy King, having a good season again with Leicester. Had the bouncebackability to recover from injury an all.

I feel a bit sorry for him, he was immense for them and their main asset a season or so ago. Seems to have fallen out of favour at a time when they stormed the Championship which I guess indicates that he will be persona non grata at a higher level next season. You would expect him to be Championship bound again.
That being said, and being completely brutal about it, has he ever looked an important player for Wales? I really thought he would bring his goals, if nothing else, to the international scene but we have got very little return on his appearances. In fact, we are doing better these days with the competition we have for places in midfield meaning that King is now even more of a squad player which sadly is a good thing.

He's an excellent player to have on the bench. Obviously not a starter in our midfield but King never has a poor game when called upon, plus with our injuries recently he has been an ever present.

Big season for King coming up - can he prove himself a premiership player, or will he spend it all on the bench?
He was sidelined during Leicester's winning run in the second half of the season, but was a starter for the last three or four games. I'd like to think that shows that Pearson sees him as important to the squad for next year, but time will tell...

Apart from a very few decent moments, I usually forget he's on the pitch for us. He was getting rave reviews at Leicester 2/3 seasons ago, hailed as the most important player, so I hope he gets back to that place.
Read a few sources that suggest he may be offloaded this summer though, so he'll probably be back in the Championship if true.

Have we all been sleeping? UEFA have increased King's ban to 2 games: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29608073Wales midfielder Andy King will miss the Euro 2016 qualifiers in Belgium and Israel after Uefa increased his suspension for violent conduct. Leicester City's King, 25, was sent off for a foul on Constantinos Makridis in Wales' 2-1 win against Cyprus. The ban means King will miss the 16 November trip to Brussels and the match in Israel on 28 March, 2015. The Football Association of Wales forwarded evidence of King's previous good behaviour in mitigation. Wales boss Chris Coleman defended King following the midfielder's dismissal early in the second half of the game at Cardiff City Stadium. "I'm disappointed for Kingy and it's not really his fault," Coleman said at the time. "The timing was wrong and he had a red but that's probably down to myself and the staff. "We've been firing the lads up the last two games. We've been into the lads all week saying 'whatever they give to us, we give to them'. "I can't blame Andy for that. " Looks as if they were fired up for the game.

I think Coleman has been stupid here. If you are UEFA and you read what he said then you will assume it was all premeditated! We fired up the lads. I can't blame him for that.
For goodness sake - please don't consider an alternative career as a defence barrister Mr. Coleman!

I have had a number of disagreements with abwales & storm (especially about the Toshack years) but both have shown what is best about Apostle, namely the quality of most discussions and the ability of most to be objective and open minded. Contrast the above with the interclub rivalry peeps on facebook & twitter. Those who have been most personal towards Coleman are now - for the most part - quiet. But they wait in the wings for the first debate when their can continue. No repentance needed on Apostle in my view

It certainly was the correct decision, however I do feel 1 game is enough of a ban, especially given that its international football.
As for my recent change in opinion... I still remain very, very much unconvinced, but finally a beacon of hope has been set alight. Hopefully in the coming months that hope will turn into more good results.

Bit of a joke. It was a bad challenge but I don't see how it was violent conduct. If this had been a key player we would have been raging.
UEFA have it out for us!

I thought violent conduct was for a headbutt or an elbow, not a mistimed tackle.
Anyway, I've always felt that a one game ban is enough in international football.Sometimes a three game ban turns into a six or eight month ban because of the small number of games played

I had a twitter exchange this morning with former Welsh Premier Referee, Nigel Richards (brother of Ceri).
Looks like there has been misreporting from the BBC.
The sending of was for Serious Foul Play and the suspension period for this in the domestic game is 3 games. For international games, it is 2 games.
Therefore everything appears to be in order, other than the BBC reporting.
Saw the challenge again over the weekend. It looks a clearer red now than it did then.

My understanding is that what Coleman said is a red herring because the suspension given does follow UEFA guidelines for a sending off for Serious Foul Play.

Watching the Bosnia-Herzegovina game again and King was so important, he stopped the progression of the Bosnian attack a few times and made some crucial interceptions. Luckily we have other good options in midfield, Huws, Ledley, Ramsey, Allen, J.Williams, Vaughan, Collison...
