Regarding not being close to a call up........

Say god forbid that 2 of either Mepham, Rodon, Cabango and Davies got injured. Who would you bring in?

There's Joe Low who's playing in League 1 who's featured before. But apart from him, it's probably Poole next in line??

Yeah I think so, although Ampadu’s also an option obviously

I know we have a smaller player pool and that can influence how we speak about players, but he's not 6 months back from injury yet and he's in a new league with, arguably, a worse midfield in front of him than last year.

Let him get to 6 months before we start to think about his chances of a cap/doing well at Championship/international level.
