"Coleman said himself that he will be in the background during the Costa Rica game." If he's in the background who is calling up players, selecting team and tactics? It makes no sense.

Not surprised. Does anyone actually believe Chris Coleman's resignation story?

I wonder if he isn't taking charge of the Costa Rica game is anything to do with this. If he is still under contract by Larissa and not being paid by Wales (yet) then there isn't much they can sue the FAW over.

So, after the half a million that was handed over to Sheffield Utd, this will probably be a couple hundered more grand that should be going into Welsh football down the pisser...

Larissa have a case but not necessarily a winning case. Coleman has helped Larissa's case by revealing that he made the deal with Wales while still under contract with Larissa. He spoke of some of Larissa players not having been paid for a year, but he was paid throughout. Was he really content to take his salary while his players were not being paid? Ugh!

Larissa's case won't get far. Marsvolta's scenario is all it will amount to, if that

This is the FAW we are talking about, they are probably still paying Mike England, Terry Yorath, Bobby Ghoul and John Toshack off - the only thing that's watertight with those clowns is there invitations to the gourmet banquets they have after internationals!!!

Why wouldn't Dutch Ray want to work with Coleman?
Just saying

The only reason I can think of is if he wanted the job himself. But I don't see him as being the sort of guy who'd want to drive up and down the motorways watching all our boys when he could be at a seminar in Dubai or whatever.

As stated in other threads RV knows what is going on and wants to be a part of it. Chances like this rarely come along.
He would be prepared to work on.

unless he's sulking there is no real reason.i cant imagine he has crossed paths with coleman so far so there should be no reason for him to take against him.

if what hes been tweeting/saying is true and he wants to carry on speeds legacy then there isnt anything thats stopping him carrying on if hes offered
both men have pretty big ego's but if they can put all that aside for the good of the side then i cant see why it wouldnt work

Please contact the Gol Centre if you wish to go as space is limited and some fans had to be turned away last time due to lack of space.
Heard that plenty of availability at the moment. Unfortunately it's a day too early for me.

Baxter, vandenhauwe..or someone else who's going, can you ask Coleman
a) Do you think Bellamy staying on is dependent on Dutch Ray staying on?
and
b) Have the FAW put pressure on you to dispense with Dutch Rays services?
