Why do we continue to accept talented players retiring early but useless councillors remaining in office forever?

He made some good points about the fact he does homework on other teams but hes very much focused on the positives and strengths our team!every member of staff i.e sports scientists, chiefs, psyio's are all the same staff the only issue is ray!

What was your overall impression and what was the crowd's general reaction to Coleman?
Was he upset by any questions?

Just my own opinion im still unsure of him,the crowds response was positive to him there was alot less people than when speed did a q and a!the only time he got upset was when he spoke about speed he was clearly emotional and you could tell he ment it!

Why do we continue to accept talented players retiring early but useless councillors remaining in office forever? how is bellamy refusing to play for his country unless Ray gets appointed the fault of the councellors? What if another player threatens to retire unless his physio is appointed? do we give him a job too?

They were the points CC made he also made the point that ray mite not want to stay and work with someone else!if colemans going to amsterdam he obviously knows this an issue that needs sorting rather than just letting ray go without weighing up the options!

Cheers Vandenhauwe and Baxter! Tbh, I believe Coleman going to Amsterdam has been triggered by Bellamy threatening to quit. Coleman had said already that he'd spoken to Bellamy and Bellamy said how good Ray was in the set up.

Thanks for letting us know, vandenhauwe.
Were there any questions about Bellamy? Good news that he's going out to Holland this week.

Just got back from q&a sesh at Airbus, meeting with Ray never happened Coleman got stuck at Brussels airport for 5 hours cos of the snow, new meeting to be arranged asap. Spoke very well about Speed, (Speeds father in attendance). On Bellamy, said he spoke with him on Thursday on the phone, from wot Coleman said and the way he put it across i think Bellamy will be on the plane for the friendly in New York and more importantly will be available for the qualifiers. Hope i'm right!!

With colemans first game approaching,i think its time we all get behind him and give him our 100% support.I know some people didnt have him as first choice and are unhappy that Ray has gone but we dont want to go back to the self-destructive early days of Speeds reign where some posters on here seemed to hope Wales lost and speed failed so they could be proved right. whether you are a fan of Ray or not it seems that he has been looking for a way out for a while now so if he is going then he might as well go at the start. the strange thing is that somehow it has been painted that if Coleman isnt a sucess it will be because Ray has gone, even though we havent qualified for 50+ years!!!??
so lets get behind Coleman guys,he was one of the only realistic choices(no,Hiddink wasnt realistic),don't forget, england are supposed to be a major nation but even they have only got a shortlist of one for their managers job.
WALES!!! WALES!!! WALES!!!

Speed was an excellent choice, so is Coleman. I'm convinced we'll compete in the next campaign. At the risk of offending anyone on this board didn't Redknapp recently say "All us Managers are over rated, its mostly down to the players" - Wales now have a Premiership first XI and even a respectable second XI!
