Think we would of beaten Hingary without him but bloody glad we didnt have to.
Him and Bale take the team to another level.

Played the last 25' and did really well.
Thread three gorgeously tasty through balls into the path of Ronaldo - and if he was half the player that Bale is, he should have converted at least two of those. In fairness, he did convert one, but was ruled off side by VAR ...
Also had a cheeky attempt at a back heel (again for CR7) as well as one shot that flew over the bar.
Very encouraging ;-)

Two weeks in Caerphilly have done nothing to break Rambo's stride. Still the key player in almost all the attacking moves. Already in the first 20' had 3 shots on target, but none of which very threatening. Matwidi blocked his best shot... Also a couple of great cheeky dink balls for their number 7 - but he was rubbish, as per usual ...

Ramsey starts away to Roma tonight. Lets hope he gets some shooting practice in on the ground we play Italy on in just over 5 months time.

Oh. darn! Another one of those stadiums with a massive running track ;-(
Anyway. The ESPN commentator is having a love-in with our Rambo. Raving about his press and his brilliance in his cheeky back heel flics. If only that number 7 was a little less selfish, he should have had two goals by now...

Caught a bit of the game, and I have to say I was very impressed with Nicolo Zaniolo the Roma CM. Several times he dribbled through everyone before being brought down and I wondered how we might cope with him against Italy. Apparently he tore his ACL in the game which probably means he will miss the Euros now, which is unfortunate for him.

He is only 19 - so plenty of time for him to make a full come back ;-)
Strangely, the Turkish up and coming defender Merih Demiral was also stretchered off in that same first half (after scoring Juve's first) and that also looks like a season ending injury as per Sarri ;-(
I do not wish injury upon any player, let alone youngsters like that.

Ahh I saw Demiral going off but hadn’t realised it was a season ender. Agreed never wish injury on anyone, strange to see two of our rivals lose players in the same game though. Demiral would likely have started with Soyuncu for Turkey so that’s a blow for them.

You can watch Juventus on Bt Sport tomorrow night. Ramsey starts on the bench! Never thought I'd say it, but that Sarri might actually be a tad cleverer than the great Maestro Arsene ...

I'm not sure if Sarri and Rambo are a good match. From what I understand, Sarri has a very specific style of play and knows exactly what he wants from players with very specific roles and responsibilities. Rambo is a bit of a maverick, he may not be the type of intelligent midfielder that can diligently carry out specific instructions, he plays more off instinct and i'm not sure if Sarri will be able to trust him.

His playing time is perfect for us. Couldn't agree more. They're only half way though their season. If they progress in the cups they could play another 29 games. If Ramsey plays the equivalent of 10 - 12 games between now and the end of May that will be just about right. Its the same for Bale at Madrid. Both teams only finish their league season of the 23rd May just 3 weeks before we're kicking off against Switzerland. We don't want them knackered when joining up.

Agree seems a perfect fit. Good to see his game time being managed.
He's clearly a player they rate and trust as he started in arguably the biggest game of the season certainly domestically for them against Roma.

Completely disagree. Rambo can be all action at times, but I think he is a very intelligent player. His role for us in Euro 2016 required a lot of intelligence and discipline.

He's starting to get a run of games injury-free which is great to see. But his performances need a step up. It's a highly competitive squad and he needs to win over the squad, management and fans. That 60mis today won't have done that, it was a fairly average performance. But I'm confident once he finds his form he'll show them what he's capable of, as long as he doesn't pick up another injury in the interim!

I see he lost out to our old Cornelius when scoring Palmers equaliser. I wouldn't worry about the performance at the minute, its just great to see him getting time on the pitch.

Cracking first half. Ramsey playing well, in his prefered position as a no.8, box to box in a midfield 3.
