Goal Rambo!
Playing in a lot more advance role than last times I've watched him. Suiting him a lot better, getting in good positions and well taken goal.

No wonder he's lacking in confidence!

I remember reading some commentary after our Hungary game, suggesting he would be better suited to that position. Brilliant if it were to work out regularly for him. Hope Giggs is taking note!

Tidy finish - he's so good at hitting the box!
How did he play overall?

He plays as a 10 for us. Any further forward and he'd be Kieffer Moore.

Tidy finish - he's so good at hitting the box! How did he play overall? Missed a couple of good chances first half, seemed to be a little off the pace. A lot better second half, good touches, seemed more confident & picked up that goal. Subbed off 63rd minute (pre season so everyone was subbed eventually).

But I admit that I didn't see this game so I think I've completely misconstrued what was meant by "playing in a more advanced role" 🤦♀️

I'd imagine that Pirlo would be happy seeing him get into those positions. The goals will come later as sharpness comes. Really hoping for a big season from him! I think a fit in form Rambo takes us from being a good team to a dangerous team

Having a fit and in form Ramsey would be huge for us!

Had an impressive first half, involved in most of Juventus' best attacking play, could have 3 assists to his name if Ronaldo knew how to finish(!) Great news for us that he's started and playing well.

Ramsey's been brilliant this first half. He has a free role in a strikerless formation and he's causing havoc. He's created about three really good chances and had a role in Juve's goal. This formation seems to be bringing the best out of him, encouraging stuff!

This is brilliant, Pirlo understands Ramsey's best role perfectly. Everything is going through him.

More of the same in the second half - a brilliant, dominating display. He was both creative and disruptive. He created five or 6 chances with ronaldo finally taking one of them at the end. Him and ronaldo were linking up brilliantly all game. And he was also excellent off the ball - he created a couple of chances with his pressing and the thousand or so Juve fans were on their feet applauding his work rate a couple of times. He also dropped deeper at times in the second half to dictate play and won back possession several times. Brilliant to watch

I keep saying it but I'll say it again. Ramsey's more important to us than Bale now
Fingers crossed he's available for this triple header. If he is, I think we'll see the overall difference he makes to our play

Bale might blow everyone away This has crossed my mind as well. He's never been too shabby for us (apart from when he isn't 100% match fit). With all those trophies, he has nothing to prove but he might want to send a message to his parent club.

I keep saying it but I'll say it again. Ramsey's more important to us than Bale now We qualified for EURO 2020 without* Rambo. * - he missed the first 6 games (75% of the campaign), only played the last 45mins of the 7th (we were 2-0 up already) and okay yes scored both goals in the 8th game but I think we would've won anyway.

If only Allen could find his form again and return to the Premier League, we could have a great shot at qualifying for the World Cup!
Think about it, young lads such as Ampadu, Levitt, Morrell, Rodon, Mepham & Neco will only improve, Kieffer Moore is the next Luca Toni and our two key men could be playing regular football at the highest level and will lead by example. Add on to that the fact we have a lot of strength in depth on the wings and that Ben Davies should still be in his peak years. It's really hard to not get excited about the next few years.

That shows how much our squad has improved but doesn't change the fact that Ramsey is the player that makes the biggest difference to us as a team when he plays. Hence why he's the most important player in my eyes. He'll need to be playing if we're to beat a top team I think

Juventus twitter have it that they are playing 4-4-2 tonight with Ramsey on the left. Although I'd be surprised at that to be honest. Some people commenting saying that it's more likely that Kulusevski will be the LWB with Morata coming in for him up front & everyone else in the same positions as their victory over Sampdoria
