2-1 down at half time. I think Ramsey's played fairly well in very difficult circumstances. They're playing a very strange formation with no one on the left wing and asking a hell of a lot from Rambo. He's expected to play centrally, particularly when in possession, but also to press their right wing back. He's looked sharp at times and made a couple of excellent passes and lots of good runs, but he made a bad mistake for their first goal where he gave away possession deep in his own half. They didn't score directly from it, but they never really recovered and conceded a penalty.

That's a shame. He made a really good start to the second half, including one sensational ball over the defence which led to Ronaldo missing a volley from 10 yards. Rabiot then gets sent off around the 60th minute mark forcing Pirlo to bring on the more defensive-mined bentancur in place of ramsey. Another encouraging display though!

Yeah saw the first hour and thought he did pretty well, although not at the heights of the last game. Juve played the same formation as last week but inverted their wing backs - Kulusevski was the RWB and Cuadrado the LWB. Kulusevski seemed to be getting forward more and Cuadrado stayed back more & Ramsey was the one covering that side so he had more defensive work to do. He was still popping up everywhere though & was unlucky not to get an assist, he almost scored with a header in the first half too. Encouraging I'd say

Its been called “fiduciary isolation” by Juve?? Hmm, so players will not be told to isolate, but rather, expected to out of trust and discretion? I dunno, maybe I’m completely wrong. There’s no way he’ll be involved next week to be honest.

Napoli not travelling apparently game not postponed yet but dosnt look likely to go ahead. 2 Napoli players tested positive,no Juve players or coaching or medical staff but staff of club. Juve and Serie A want game played. If game is off,Rambo might be ok i suppose.

I don’t see how they can quarantine the team? No positive tests in Juve squad and the team they will play against (game is going ahead according to clubs Twitter) will have no positive cases?

Its quite a clever move from Juve insisting that their players quarantine for two weeks over the international break so none of their players play for their teams and risk injury. They can hide behind all the hysteria going around about a second wave and rising cases. Juve have said they will take the field tonight as a symbolic move to show Serie A that they should be awarded the tie due to Napoli no showing.

It all seems very odd, surely the Italian FA will be keen to resolve this, with Chiellini as their captain and them having two nations league games coming up. I don't see why Ramsey can't get covid tested and then join us?

Rambo starts and Napoli have a pretty decent team out.
Hopefully an injury free game for Rambo!

Has this been confirmed anywhere? Or are we believing a BBC article? It's not been confirmed. Juventus have named a side to play Napoli today, surely they have to let the players out for international duty if they're fit to play in a league game?

This was a few minutes ago.
The Juventus players won’t have to go into isolation for two weeks. They’re being tested more or less every day. If Ramsey tests positive for covid then of course he’d isolate. However, they won’t be isolating for two weeks just in case! The Napoli chief executive tested positive back mid September but the club played on the opening weekend a week later because all the players has tested negative throughout the week.

Exactly, they can’t make their whole squad self isolate because it’s international week. Can’t imagine that would go down with the players.

Looks like Napoli not showing up. They will be given 45 minutes extra to arrive - but that is not going to happen ...
Rambo is allowed to have his cold shower at 2030 ;-)

Right so no game for Rambo, which means he should be nice and rested. As far as I can see, he'll be joining up with the squad regardless and will be flying back soon, anything saying otherwise seems to be speculative at best.

Sounds like the BBC article was nothing but scare tactics, an attempt to get those who actually give a shit about our game against England worried about our key player potentially missing it. We'll get a few more of those out of the English media in the coming days, and I for one cannot wait for it to all be over so everyone can shift focus to the more important matches.

Why is he not allowed to join up until after the England match? They can't just drop that in there without an explanation.
Maybe it's a good thing, but it certainly doesn't feel like one. Part of the reason why we shouldn't be playing a friendly against England, when we most likely aren't even going to get the option of playing our best players for it.

Looking it seems to be because two Juventus staff members have covid, which surely isn't a particularly good reason given that they can just test him and let him play? Liverpool have had two players test positive, but that isn't going to prevent Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez and Jordan Henderson from playing is it?

I'm interested to see if Cristiano Ronaldo features for Portugal against Spain on Wednesday. Surely the same applies to him.
I've seen nothing to suggest he won't feature.
