I dont want to get involved in this again but its all based on this misleading stat: Over the past 7 months Ramsey - Wales 447 minutes Juventus 378 minutes Does not take into account we had a tournament and for around 4/5 of those 7 months there was no domestic football. Like saying Ramsey hasn't trained with Juventus for the passed 4 days but managed to train with wales - silly comparison. Ramsey has come out now and said he's not being managed by Juventus correctly in terms of recovery time during the week. Perhaps he's edging closer to a premiership return, good for Him and Wales. I think this Juventus spell has been disastrous for him in footballing terms I know what you are saying, but I'm not really commenting on the facts of the situation, more so the fan perceptions Some Juve fans think he only turns up for us, some of our fans think he only turns up for them. The reality is somewhere in between and he's probably just unlucky with injuries in reality That kind of ends the debate for me, there's no conspiracy. Just a man who has had bad luck I thought the Juve move would be great for him when he signed for Allegri. But since Allegri left Juve have gone downhill quickly. I'd rather see Rambo back in the Premier League now. Wages might be an issue but there will still be plenty of club who would want his quality. Maybe he can be the first signing under the Newcastle revolution hahah Ironically, Allegri is the one who plays him least. Newcastle would actually be a good shout all of a sudden but, being brutally honest, the situation there has changed to the extent that if they have as much money as rumoured And want to compete with PSG and Man City as rumoured then they will be looking higher up the food chain than a player who failed to make a good impression at a champions league heavyweight whilst also suffering numerous injuries. Everton/West Ham are the sort of clubs that would be the right balance in terms of means to afford the player and offering regular first team football whilst providing a decent platform in terms of competitiveness on the pitch. As I’ve always said though, to get such a move my money is very much on international football probably having to be sacrificed for a last bumper pay day. Even your Everton’s and West Ham’s won’t want to be paying big money for a guy with Ramsey’s injury record at Juventus with 8+ international football matches a year offering more chance to get injured.

It's sad but I think he's really going to struggle to find a club.
Every time he gets linked (Wolves, West Ham, Everton), the fans reaction is that they don't want him.
Might be another one heading to MLS.

Might be another one heading to MLS. He'll see out his contract and come home to Cardiff on a free, joining Bale who'll already be there after doing the same a year earlier.

Home to Cardiff? He's from Caerphilly.

I think you can call Cardiff Ramsey's home considering he came from their academy and also went back on loan with them. I would love to see him sign for a Welsh club though.

Home to Cardiff? He's from Caerphilly. Now that's some serious nitpicking considering: A. Ramsey came through Cardiff City's academy B. Ramsey grew up a Cardiff City fan C. Caerphilly is just about as close as you can be to Cardiff without being in Cardiff D. All of Cardiff City's players live in the Vale anyway, and Rambo already has a house there.

yes good goals but it was that goal v italy and i thought this guy is special - that's wonder goal isn't it, the back flick to vokes and half volley to beat italy! A side with ballotelli in at the time i think! Ramsey is a special player, remember the first few games he played for arsenal just the confidence to ping balls around.

That goal against Galatasaray is unreal. Never seen anyone score another goal like that, with that technique. So special

I may have criticised him before, and doubted him, but he was world class tonight.

Performance tonight at odds with "fatigue" at Juve? Interesting comments about Welsh medical team understanding him also. Beginning to hope that given recent events, Newcastle come in for him in January.

Unless he's doing a Bale at Madrid and thinking 'fuck it, I'm doing what I want'. What were the comments from the Wales medical team?

'The Welsh staff and medical team have been brilliant, they have been open for discussions and it’s important to all be on the same page' Hmm, I wonder what discussions he is on about? Discussions on whether or not he's allowed to play?

Dunno. Just reminds me a bit of the Bellamy situation where his career was prolonged by careful management. He seems to trust the Welsh set up.
Be interesting to see if he manages another 90 minutes on Monday.
Bale is a fantastic player but when Ramsey is at his best he improves everyone around him.

When Rambo is on top of his game we ‘tick’. Almost all of our best performances in the past 7 years or so have been when he has performed like we all know he can. Bale wins games on his own, whereas Ramsey makes the sum of the parts greater.

Why would he go to Newcastle now the takeover is done?

But we tend to play better as a team when Ramsey is involved. To be honest, he surprised me tonight with how well he was able to influence and control the midfield after missing so many games recently.

Why would he go to Newcastle now the takeover is done? What? He's much more likely to go to Newcastle now surely?

Wow!
I was not expecting him to play at that level!
Goodness - how good would he have been if that Orc Shawcross had not destroyed his ankle. Am convinced that is where his terrible injury record comes from.
It is pretty incredible we had Ramsey and Bale at the same time. Would be two of the first few names on any international team sheet when they are both fit and firing.
He is just so creative. He set the move off with his incredible cushioned, but powerful header, sprints the length of the field, feints to shoot not once but twice, sees the space than the artist's wand finishes things off! He just knew how 4 players would react and sees things ahead of everyone else. That was World Class!

Reminded us that England, Scotland and Ireland do not have players of the like of Ramsey or Bale.
When there is no injury issue - they are truly special and they are ours!

Also love how he send the keeper sprawling, flat on the floor He seemed to have a clear shot so I thought he’d ballsed it up when he checked back because the keeper and defender reacted very quickly. Fair play though he found the far corner and made a telling contribution. A generous slice of humble pie for me on this occasion!

I still can’t get over how cool his finish was. When it landed at his feet I shouted “SHOOT”, but no, then for his second touch I shouted “SHOOT”, but no he waited until the perfect time. How composed for a player who hasn’t played a lot of football in so long. Pure class.
Let’s be perfectly honest, Bale has continued to turn up each camp and is regarded as most as our best player still. But when was the last time Bale dominated a game for us? ROI at home for Giggs first game? He was vital vs Belarus, but don’t think he particularly played well in that game. Every time Ramsey puts a shirt on (unlikely for us not often enough in recent times), he usually is the best player on the pitch.
So important for us, well done Rambo.

What a player, I still say we'd have won the Euros in 2016 if he wasn't wrongly suspended!
