He’s hardly got blistering pace, although never mind the players the pitches are probably bad enough that if Scott Brown doesn’t get him the divots in the pitch at St Johnstone probably will. That being said they don’t have that many fixtures left looking at the calendar. The league ends on April 10th A high level of skill and vision, which Ramsey possesses, can make up for not having blistering pace. He's always had a knack for finding himself in acres of space. But if someone wants to take one for the team, as alluded to above, being in space is neither here nor there, they’ll just charge in and do it, even if the ball has long gone. Will be interesting reading the Scottish forums in the lead up to the play offs because I’ll bet there’ll be a go fund me page set up to pay off any fines for anyone willing to step up!! 😒 That train of thought reminds me of when England were due to play Argentina in the 2002 World Cup. Wasn’t it Mauricio Pochettino who put a dodgy tackle in on Beckham that broke his metatarsal making him a doubt for the finals? 🤔

Ran out of options?
Sevilla was rumoured a few weeks ago? Lol.

If he's turned down PL clubs/Sevilla to go to the SPL (Rangers or Celtic, it doesn't matter) then I think he's made a terrible decision.
However, I suspect he actually hasn't had much interest from other clubs due to his terrible injury record and you can't blame any team for that. I think Juve wanted rid of him permanently rather than a loan, that would explain why today they have agreed to loan him as they have ran out of road.
It could be a great move for him if he plays well and stays fit from now until the end of the season, particularly if the Gers go on a run deep into the Europa League which I think they probably will. If he can show he's fit and ready to play then I reckon clubs in the PL would be more receptive to taking a punt on him.

When he's been rejecting Newcastle and Burnley, the prognosis was never going to be good. Let's be brutally honest, Rambo is a has-been. You'd be expecting Kimmich, Zakaria or Rodri for somebody on his wages, but his best performances are fewer and farther between, and he's often injured for the winter months.
He's done well in the past and can occasionally pull it out of the bag for us, but his club career is in the ditch at this point.

Ross County on a wet Tuesday night? Which is you object to, small towns, rain, or midweek fixtures? Or all three? I don’t think he could avoid that anywhere he plays.

Crap pitches, horrendous weather and agricultural tackles. Rangers look like they’ll have a key fixture on a Wednesday night in early March at St Johnstone. I just had a look at some pictures of their ground and the pitch doesn’t look the best, especially in the goal mouth.

I was sure it was an Argentinian with the surname Pochettino

Almost seems like our two biggest stars have almost semi retired from club football and are just nursing themselves through in the hope they will be fit for us,not that straight forward of course because they both play for massive clubs that are hard enough to nail a first team spot down even when fully fit,bit strange though.Good for us if it works out maybe:),but will they both be terribly out of practice/match fitness for such big games? ramsey could get a few full games until then i guess.

Bizzare transfer on his part. If the rumours of a club in Spain showing interest was genuine.

You'd like think Ian Gwyn Hughes and Osian Roberts would have been on the phone to him once the rumours broke to tell him to reconsider this. You can forgive Team GB because at the time we were miles away from qualifying for a major tournament, and experienced players like Bellamy and Giggs were hopping on the bandwagon, but I expect this move will harm his reputation with the more Indy leaning Welsh crowd, which is more or less all the die-hards. Really disappointed in Rambo.

Vile club, but regular football for him.
He's a brit so that's no surprise, I'm more surprised that he hasn't gone to the English Prem or Bundesliga etc.
Maybe he'll go to a top league in the summer, but the SPL is decent and at least this move might bring our coaching staffs attention to other Welsh players playing in Scotland.
Fuck sake Rambo mun lol

At least he wants to play ahead of our WC qualifers - so good on him for that!
Wish Neco and Rodon would follow his example (hopefully Bale can get the odd game at Real!)

Either way between playing for GB and now this it isn't a good look for him with the indy crowd - of whom I know a lot of people loved Rambo. Especially given that he's a Welsh speaker It almost makes you think that maybe he does have an opinion on these political issues and that he is a unionist

All that matters now is that he gets some actual football under his belt. The same goes for Bale. We cannot have our two talismans woefully lacking match sharpness before the play-offs. It would be a catastrophe.

I’m obviously out of touch but I’ve genuinely never heard any anti-Rangers stuff in my entire 40 odd years of following Wales.
Obviously anti GB and all but not specifically against Rangers as a club, even though they’re obviously synonymous with all that stuff.
I get that the club is pro-Brit and all that but I didn’t know they even registered in the thoughts of Wales fans. Not pro- Rangers obviously and not Anti- Rangers, just thought they were an irrelevance to us

I would be genuinely staggered if any of our players are anything but unionists. It doesn't make me think any less of them at all.

I always preferred Celtic but its because I like the name when I was a kid!
The Welsh are largely protestant so I don't see the issue. If its pro Brit then many football teams will have a large pro Bexit majority.
Lets try to be positive - is it not ironic that the Scots are helping get one of our key players fit ahead of the WC play offs!
