Agreed. Taggart would get the best from him. But would he be interested if Ramsey was available again with him turning them down four years back? I'm not that sure he would. No disrespect to the lad, but why would old Cider Nose even be interested given the limitless depth of players United have to choose from around the globe? It would be a bizarre move indeed to pay a decent fee (Arsenal won't just let him go) for a player for whom there are serious doubts if he will ever be the player he was when United could pay the same amount for a player from some developing nation who doesn't have the baggage that Ramsey has yet just as much talent. It doesn't make any sense. Ramsey will need to go down to a team more at the level he is at the moment and rebuild his reputation. If he succeeds in such a scenario then surely he will find his way back to a top club in short order. Can't help but think the longer he stays at Arsenal the longer he will waste his career.

Cardiff on loan when they come up next year is the way to go in my view.

Wow, got to applaud the confidence in him- but when is he going to turn the corner at Arsenal? A clean slate at a new club would do him good. I would hope a season long loan next season is in Wenger's plans.

I would hope a season long loan next season is in Wenger's plans. Absolutely no chance. No one really knows exactly what Wenger has planned for him, and a lot depends on the club's ambitions. However, I'd say one of two distinct possibilities: 1) Wenger trusts him and is confident that it's only a matter of time before he regains form. 2) Sees him as a useful squad player who won't complain. If it's option 2, that's pretty disastrous news for us.

Arsenal fans appear to overlook the fact that Ramsey is no longer playing alongside Fabregas and Nasri and that other chap who went to Spain. They've been repalced with inferior players. By acknowledging this simple fact would however also acknowledge that Arsenal are essentially a selling club now and no longer dine at the top table of English football. To Arsenal fans this matters more than actually winning trophies.
I'm pretty sure I've never met an Arsenal fan I didn't like

Maybe he was right all along ;D

Ramsey on the bench yesterday against Chelsea - whilst Coquelin and Diaby started. Coquelin and Diaby both went off and Ramsey had to be content with a holding role in the last 25 minutes whilst Wilshere (who was shit) had the freedom to do whatever he liked.
Today Yoann Gourcuff has been strongly linked to a loan move to Arsenal for the remainder of the season - this a player who Ramsey completely outplayed against France U21 a few years back.
Why did he sign a new contract?

he can only go downwards from here,he wont find a better club than arsenal at the moment, his form doesnt suggest he will move sideways to a spurs say..thats not to say he cant come good
arsenal like wales have lost their direction, they also have no natural leader it seems
sagna's broken his leg twice in the time we've been waiting for ramsay to recapture his form
is there not a case for someone to tell him to man up a bit?

Agree that it appears like he needs some kind of personality coaching. Or perhaps Wenger doesn't motivate him?
I'd say a move to either Spurs or Liverpool is realistic, but still reckon he'd be best off in Germany, Spain or Italy.

Aaron Ramsey joined the 100 Pass Club in the Premier League this season with 123 passes attempted (95% Completed). Accurate.
Aaron Ramsey made more passes than any other player in the first half (66) with 92% accurate and 52% forwards.
Quality, quality performance. Never lose faith in Rambo. ♥

Arseanl fans can't have it both ways. If it's Ramsey's fault when he plays and they lose, it must also be his 'fault' when he plays and they win......

Then it might disappoint you to know that Ramsey is being spoken highly of by the Arsenal supporters after the last couple of games. ;D The phrase "back to his best" is being thrown about...

not unanimously storm but some of them crawling out of their ramsey hate holes tonight. arsenal fans really are a bunch of cocks and it will be amusing to see them turn fully. he must be allowed to play centrally and dictate the game...that is what he does best.

The Ramsey criticism smacks of crowdthink. Someone else is saying it so I'm going to repeat it

For anyone who hasn't seen it www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPvZvL6OsTwIn front of the back four pulling the strings and setting the tempo and rhythm of the match seemingly in a time zone of his own as we all know he has always been capable - ok so it was only West Ham but imagine the aura when he reaches his peak.

Makes you wonder what his most effective position would be for Wales.

And thats the problem- it was West Ham, who gave him time and space. We need to see him control a game against teams who are quick to close him down. I've noticed hes struggled for Wales in those circumstances and it seems the Arsenal fans have seen it too.

Myhill Gunter, Collins, Williams, Davies Ramsey Bale, Collison, Allen, Ledley Bellamy
Subs: Brown, Vaughan, King, Mathews, Morrison, Ricketts, Crofts, Vokes, edwards
I think everyone here can justify their place, the rest have yet to prove they can play at international level. Apart from the injured players of course.

Tonight vs Bayern is an example of why I think Ramsey should leave Arsenal. Yes, he was poor, but so were all of Arsenal's players (except for Wilshere) The vibes are all wrong there; Wenger is cracking up, the fans are frustrated (plus, virtually all Arsenal fans are cunts)... its not the best environment for a young player who's suffered a double leg break and the suicide of the man who made him captain of his country to regain his confidence....

sensible tweet here:
Rich Hughes @richhugs @ffwtbol He needs to be at a club for a year or 2 where success isn't demanded.Needs to build confidence back up and can't see it at arsenal
