In the past i've defended him to the hills, but now I am less inclined to. Any particular reason?

It appears the media narrative of "Ramsey's shit, Wilshere's world class" has begun to affect this board when discussing Rambo
He's been one of the best, if not the best, Arsenal players this season. He's proved himself time and again and people think he should be looking at Bournemouth? What?
He's better than a lot of the midfielders regularly featuring at Liverpool, Man Utd etc, the only Premier League team I'm not confident he'd get into is Manchester City

Ramsey will be playing champions league next season as long as he leaves Arsenal

People on both sides of this argument are, to varying degrees, underestimating the significance of Ramsey's injury history. If Ramsey had a decent injury record there's no doubt he has the ability to be attractive to the likes of Barcelona let alone the leading lights in the Premier League. But he doesn't have a good record. Why would a big club run the risk of investing a huge amount of money on transfer fees, wages, etc. on a player who may only play half of the team's games? Not a good use of money. The same goes for Bale - which is the only reason there's all this talk of Madrid letting him go.
It's a shit narrative, but injuries have played a massive part in the careers of so many talented (predominantly midfielder) Welsh players. Although I expect a biggish team at least to take a chance on Ramsey, perhaps an Everton, it's not entirely inconceivable that he may end up at a Bournemouth some time soon. If that were to come to pass that would say nothing of his ability, but everything about his injury woes.

If that were to come to pass that would say nothing of his ability, but everything about his injury woes. He has a poor injury record, but let's not exaggerate. The figures below show his PL appearance record since returning from the Cardiff loan after his leg break. He's played in a 195 PL games in that time, featuring in 76% of Arsenal's games. Apps % 2011-12 34 89% 2012-13 36 95% 2013-14 23 61% 2014-15 29 76% 2015-16 31 82% 2016-17 23 61% 2017-18 19 66% He has a poor record, but he's not a Joniesta or a Wilshere. He's not even nearly as bad as Bale's record. I'm almost certain that he won't end up at an Everton or Bournemouth. It will be a champions league club in England or abroad.

The current Arsenal squad as a collective have all the heart of a pea and lack any sort of personal pride or will to win for themselves. That alone will not be attractive to any side looking to compete for titles before you even factor in injury records.
Would you be rushing out to sign players who put in such insipid performances as a way of rebelling against the manager?

That isn't a criticism you can lay at Ramsey - it's more like the opposite with him, sometimes he tries too hard and over complicates things.

Another stat I just picked up on twitter:
'Aaron Ramsey averages a goal/assist every 109 minutes this season. Incredible return for a midfielder'
Who was saying he's having a bad season?

Agree completely. They said in the broadcast that this was his 300th start for Arsenal. There is more Gooner blood in his little finger than in Jack's entire heart :+)

Great stats, so 0.78 goals/assists per 90 mins. Not bad for someone who's having a poor season and is about to be shipped off to Everton or Bournemouth. For context - the current English golden boy, Dele Alli, is averaging 0.19 goals and 0.31 assists, or 0.5 combined, per 90 mins.

Won't be picked to play in the China Cup. They want to manage his workload because of injuries.
Phil Cadden - Twitter
Sensible approach I suppose!!!

BBC believe he will be selected?
Giggs received a lot of abuse for missing friendlies. Will the Welsh public turn on Ramsey the same way?
