Would be good move in my opinion, better than going to a club and only as a bit player.

Unfortunately he only turns up 1 in 6 games and drifts in and out of games. Needs regular premier league football but he's a luxury having to play him on the right when he's not the quickest.

Agree. He is so maddening given how much talent he has! The way he got sent off vs Denmark just summed him up - a pathetic, half hearted trip!
Beckham was never the most talented but he had a wonderful pass / shot and was massively driven. The match vs Greece at home England needed to win to pip Germany in the group stands out in particular. Harry technically is probably amongst the top 5-10% strikers of the ball in terms of power/accuracy in the Premiership? If Harry had 50% of Beckham's drive he would be a massive player for us!

Completely agree with the two of you that he's extremely inconsistent and struggles to affect games. But I think it's unfair to question his work rate, I've never seen reason to. Every time he comes off he looks absolutely shattered. I think it's just extremely poor athleticism. He's got fantastic technique as you say but he's extremely weak, and has no speed or stamina. So he just gets shoved off the ball and tires very easily

Been saying it for years but he needs to transform into a number 9. Not quick enough to be a winger, not inventive/consistent/silky dribbler enough to be a 10. He can strike the ball brilliantly, and has shown he can finish. If he hones himself into a number 9 he would be a real asset for us there

Looks like he's off to Fulham for about 12m. Happy with that, he'll be a starter for a top championship side who will make it into the prem occasionally. That's about his level. Who knows, more consistently in who he plays for might allow him to become a more consistent player and move up a level

Harry Wilson has officially moved to Fulham. I'm very happy he has made a permanent transfer over another loan. I hope he fills his boots with game time now.

Good move for Harry. He needs regular football and he has a decent shot at promotion with Fulham.

Great goal, looks well suited to this system to be able to get plenty of shots in his range on his left foot, playing in a good side. Don't want to speak too early but looks like he's going to have a good year.

Harold was very hard done by. That were never a red card. Not even a yellow. Otherwise, played well, was involved in most of what Fulham were doing and thumped the cross bar just before being sent off...

Had good reviews on both his first couple of performances, surprisingly (to me at least) for his all-round game. Promising start.

Since when did he decide to carve a new role out as the next Roy Keane???
I wish he would put such aggression into his drive during the game and even his 'normal' tackling and forward play.
Maybe its stamina but if he could just apply himself more consistently within a game then he could be a top, top player and make Liverpool look stupid for offloading him. I doubt it will change but I hope he can reach his full potential

Harold must've seen his mate Thomas earlier. Scores on his return after the harsh red card.

Hopefully he does the same for Cymru when he returns from his harsh red card in the Euros

Has there been any word on Wilson’s head injury? He seemed to have a problem with his vision so hopefully it’s not too serious.

If that's caused by concussion (no idea if it is), that's him out for a few weeks if I remember correctly.

He was clattered by their keeper if I remember correctly. Tried to play on but from watching on tv you could see he was clearly struggling and vision was blurred. Looked like the medics were sort of testing his peripheral vision and he was indicating he couldn't see how many fingers they were holding up in the corners of his vision.

Yeah seems to be doing great at Fulham, I'm just surprised by how many chances he's missed for us in his most recent appearances. We really could have done with him scoring from that chance in the opening minute against Estonia!

The next time Fulham come up I think they're staying up and he's their main man now, good news for all concerned.

Was checking out the caps in our squad now, and interestingly Wilson is behind only the following regulars;
Gunter 105 Bale 99 Hennessey 97 Ramsey 68 Davies 67 Allen 66 Wilson 32
He's the leading caps holder of the "new school". Given he's averaging 7 appearances a year for us, and is now 24, if he plays for us until he's 32 he would be on 88 caps. Not outrageous to suggest he could reach the century. Might be a bit of a stretch, but if we keep qualifying for Euros I don't see why he couldn't do it
At Ampadu's current rate he could hit the century aged 30, which would be an incredible achievement

He was brilliant when he came on today. So glad he's moved permanently away from Liverpool. Clearly grown in confidence being the main creative man playing in a proper footballing team.
