Very strange how he's pulled out of every squad (as far as I'm aware)? since his Belgium debut. . . Yeah might be good for him to go out on loan somewhere?

he did manage 10 mins for under 21s v Bulgaria although the logic of bringing him on at that late stage was not obvious to me.

With Wales on the verge of qualification he will want to be part of that. I'd like to think he has no chance now after not being part of previous squads when called up. It would be very disappointing to see him get called up possibly at the expense of a lesser known stalwart for the final squad for France. If he wants to play at a finals then he needs to start showing that he can do the hard yards to earn a place.

Im sure one of the posters on here knew a family member & if I remember rightly said that Liverpool were not informing him on being selected for international squads?

Although the bet has been won I hope that Harry wants to achieve more in his football career for Wales.

At a decent level too. I think Wilson is crucial to us as he's a goal scorer, and we don't have enough goal scorers. I had thought George Williams and Tom Lawrence would be goal scorers in senior football by now though.

Wilson didn't even get on again today.
Really pissed off with Crewe as he seemed to be scoring for fun with Liverpool u21's. He's gone there, they're really struggling in league one, and they're not playing him!
Please Klopp, recall him or send the boys round with a warning...

Harry can go back to Liverpool, when he wants so hope he does and gets a new loan move asap. What looked to be the ideal move for all parties just isn't working out as he hasn't been given a fair crack of the whip by the Crewe manager. Maybe he is fearful of putting his faith in such a young player but he is sinking fast so may as well give Harry a run

Hearing that he trained at Melwood with Klopp on Sunday, came back (not permanently) after not getting a game for Crewe on the weekend. Good to see we haven't just sent him off to Crewe and forgotten about him. Klopp had 3 academy players on the bench on Saturday, mostly because of injuries, but still quite promising. Loan ends January 5 so hopefully he'll get a few chances in the 2nd half of the season, maybe the League Cup if we're still in it, or the FA Cup if we get a decent draw. Probably not the Europa League as I think Klopp will take that quite seriously, but you never know if injuries start piling up.

Instead of being "pissed off with Crewe", is there not a possibility that he simply isn't as good as the hype has suggested? Crewe are under no obligation to play him just because of his 'potential' if they can see day-in day -out in training that he isn't as good as their other options. He may well improve in future and become the player we all hope he will be, but Crewe are not judging him by his potential only by his current ability.
Football is full of players who looked like world beaters at 15 and 16 and then end up making a career in the lower leagues. I hope I'm wrong, but not getting a game at Crewe doesn't bode particularly well.

I hope I'm wrong, but not getting a game at Crewe doesn't bode particularly well. I take your point about them seeing him everyday in training and how sometimes players don’t kick on. Perhaps his attitude isn’t right at Crewe. You're also right that they have no obligation to play him but what is the point of loaning him. It does them no good and him no good when he could continue playing for Liverpool's U21 side/break into the 1st team. However, I think his stats¹ for Liverpool U21’s last season (and the beginning of this) speaks volumes: Last season he played an average of 68mins per game in the U21 league yet managed to score 6 and assist 5 (bare in mind he won’t be 19 until late March next year) Even this season, he played 90mins in each of the three games he played before going on loan and scored one and assisted one. Admittedly I don’t know what sort of level the U21 premier league is but I’d guess it’s probably going to be league 1 and above. Given how badly Crewe are doing, I’m really surprised how little game time he’s had. 1:http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harry-wilson/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/279455

You have to defer to the people who see him in training. Plus there is also the question of whether a lower league battle ground is the best place for a youngster. A lot of managers won't have the confidence to throw a youth player in at that level.
Mind you it does raise the obvious question of why you would sign him in the first place.

Given how badly Crewe are doing, I’m really surprised how little game time he’s had. I don't know, it does make sense in a twisted logic sort of way. Crewe are rooted to the bottom of the league, desperately struggling, and in such instances many managers tend not to want to experiment, preferring to revert to the basics of playing and stick with age and experience to dig them out of a hole. Wilson's a young lad with no real experience of playing, especially in such a hostile environment as a relegation battle, and could even be regarded as a bit of a flair player. Crewe could well have loaned him late August with the intention of introducing him slowly as they expand their play over the months into Christmas. However now that their season's gone south quick sharp, the staff might not feel this is the right time to introduce what they may regard as a 'lightweight option'. To me the fact he still makes the bench under such circumstances shows they're thinking of him in the right frame of mind, many don't. Jonny Williams certainly didn't a couple of years back when Palace were struggling in the Prem under Holloway...and that was despite them knowing everything about him after he helped lead the charge into the EPL the year before!

League football or under 21 football? Surely the former is better?

Would be good if he got into Liverpool's matchday squad tomorrow seeing as they just need a draw to win the group.

Would be great if Wilson plays tonight.
Shame about Jordan Williams if he is injured, could have been a great opportunity, guess we will see when the line ups are announced. Hopefully Allen plays.
I'm sure Roberts will be in the WBA matchday squad again, hopefully getting some decent amount of minutes if not in the starting XI.
Sheehan and Shepard have been training with the Swans first team this week so I will be disappointed if they are not even on the bench Sunday.

I thought Jordan Williams was a a season long loan to Swindon and got injured? Which is a shame as Liverpool have few fit centre backs. Harry Wilson not been mentioned as a possible starter.

He's not even on the bench. Quite disappointing considering the likes of Branagan, Kent and Ojo are in the squad. Unless he's injured this suggests he's a long way down the pecking order. Apart from Llallana, Lucas and Benteke the whole squad is made up of youngsters.

What's happened with him then?
Seems to have completely gone off the radar, and has been overtaken by a number of other Liverpool youth players.

He injured/broke his foot a few months back so think he's only just getting back into training now. Saw him out in France cheering on Wales at the Bordeaux game. Hopefully he can get a breakthrough this season

I don't think the majority of Liverpool fans are aware of this, a lot on Twitter wondering of his whereabouts after the Fleetwood game. He didn't make an impression at Crewe either last season, so wondering if he will break through or not.
