Unbelievable feeding frenzy from airlines and hotels, My flight to Bordeaux from Bristol went up from 109 to 150£ in the 2 minutes I was booking, and that was before the draw had finished ! Flying Bristol to Bordeaux on 9th June, Flying Bordeaux to Lille on the 14th, and flying Lille to Toulouse on Easy Jet on the 17th.Have been told that the ticket I booked from Bordeaux to Lille had more than doubled in price about an hour after I booked. It is a shame that we are playing all the matches in small grounds and so many Welsh fans will be unable to watch them. Why could they not extend some of the stadiums as other countries have done for major tournaments ? No money left for Christmas. Little choice but to have a dry January after paying for 3 flights and 3 hotels. The boys have got to do a job in Lens. My 2 nights there will be interesting. Nearest hotel I could get at a reasonable price is 7 miles from the city centre. I must ask whether my Cardiff bus pass is acceptable in France. Hopefully should get a bit of sun In Bordeaux with a couple of trips to the beach and then back to the old city for the evening.
Keep the faith

Count yourself lucky you managed to book on that Bristol to Bordeuax flight when you did. £300 return seems reasonable, given some of the prices I've now seen (the flight you're on went up to £350 one way!)... I forgot Easyjet flew that route, delayed booking and missed out. Kicking myself. Now waiting for organised trips to be confirmed.
Bristol to Toulouse flights sold a bit more slowly, so I'm sorted for the Russia match. £300 return.

Unbelievable feeding frenzy from airlines and hotels, My flight to Bordeaux from Bristol went up from 109 to 150£ in the 2 minutes I was booking, and that was before the draw had finished ! Tell me about it, I was booking a ticket for my nephew and each time that I clicked on the 'buy' button, it came back with a "the price of the ticket has now increased" error message. It went up £50 in the space of a couple of minutes!
Now that I've booked the flights and the accommodation it is starting to feel a bit real. Oh, and how bl*ody expensive it is going to be!
I'm flying Birmingham to Bordeaux on the day of the game (Sat 11th) and then flying back the next day. A couple of days in work and then flying Bristol to Brussels on Weds 15th. Hopefully then spend two weeks travelling around France, taking in Toulouse and the venues that we will be playing in the knock-out stages :-)

8 of us are booked on flights to La Rochelle - £40 on the Friday. La Rochelle is only an hour north of Bordeaux, so a good option if you want to fly on the Friday and think that the Bordeaux flights are too expensive.

Posdilby catching a ferry across from Portsmouth on the Thursday night and drive down to Bordeaux in time to watch the opening game on TV or in a fan zone.
Pick out a few places to visit on the way to Lens. Then a couple of stops down to Toulouse.
After that depends on where the fixtures take us.
This will be cheaper and more educational than £300 flights for each game.

Basing myself in Lyon, got a return flight there for £120 a few weeks back. This morning I booked internal flights to Bordeaux & Toulouse & they were only £65 a pop, so all in just £250 spent on flights. Will get the train to Lens if I get a ticket.

Flying Birmingham to Bordeaux via Brussels on the 10th, then up to Brussels on the 12th. Will most likely just travel to Lens from Brussels on the day of the game as hotels seem ridiculous there, and as its an afternoon game can get the hell out of there straight away. Getting to Toulouse I haven't decided how yet.

I've booked hotels in bordeaux and toulouse but have given upin lens everything bookec althouh a very small hotel in the centre starting asking £263 for 1 night!!!! Ha ha ha. Thinking of findinb campsite close to to tgv station and going in early and should be easy to get back given early kick off. Likely ferry and car as flights in and ojt for every game is just too expensive. Will e quite nice travelling between the cities watching games in bars.

'Scenic route' flights from Heathrow on the 10th to Madrid with a connecting flight doubling back up to Bordeaux. Two nights in a hotel on the edge of town and then flying back same way on the Sunday. £180 return air tickets booked with Iberia late last night and £25 per night hotel. By the sounds of it they might turn out to be half decent prices... Too expensive for me to stay the whole tournament but, tickets or no tickets, it feels important to be at our opener in Bordeaux. Can't wait!

Work means I can't stay out in France for the whole of the group stage - and I need to get my son back to school on the Monday after the Slovakia match - so for me flights in and out are the best option. Obviously I would have preferred to stay out for the whole of the first round but that's just not an option.

We've decided to stay from the 8th to the 15th June in La Rochelle. Got a very good deal on an apartment there.

Went to 7 of the last 8 away games plus Netherlands away, also TT holder for the last 2 tournaments, so more than hopeful. Will be applying for FMT ticket. I want to have a holiday and watch the football. Work will be expecting me to put in my holiday application tomorrow! To save a days holiday, if I do not have the Friday off on our rota I will try to swap that day off.

New Member but a lurker over the years!
Going down to Bordeaux from Manchester on the train.
I've booked hotels so far 10th June 2 nights in Bordeaux and 2 nights in Tolouse from June 19th, Flying home via Brussels for £76 to Manchester
Thinking for basing in Paris for the Ingerland game, only an hour on the TGV from Gare du Nord.
F1hotels from Accor seem cheap and cheerful. Aslong as i've a bed to sleep the beer off i'm fine with it!

Flying from Manchester to Paris on 10th, Paris hotel booked for 9 nights. Got TGV booked to the Saturday morning down to Bordeaux but can't see any trains back up after match and hotels look expensive in Bordeaux on the Saturday night so will probably get first train back in the morning.
Will travel to Lens and back on day of match.
Have flight booked down from Paris to Toulouse on the 19th where we will stay for two nights then fly from Toulouse to Manchester via Brussels on the Tuesday.
Will fly out again if we get to the knockouts.

Flying Bristol to Bergerac early morning on 11th then train to Bordeaux. Flying Bordeaux back to Bristol via Brussels the next day.
Very early Eurostar to Lille on morning of 16th then train on to Lens. Hoping not to have to come home between games 2 and 3 so (annual leave permitting) probably a couple of days in Paris before heading south to Toulouse. Flying back via Brussels the next day.
Will deal with knockout rounds later!

La Rochelle is a lovely city and ok for a few days. You can get across to to visit the islands and it may not be too crowded in June. In August they are queueing to get over there.

My itinerary plans so far is travel with paganella logistics over to France with a tent & take it from there.
No need for finding these camping sites and wasting euros plenty of rural land in France & it's going to be hot anyway.
Had my access code but may struggle to get tickets as I have no credit card.
