Liverpools two first choice goalies are suspended for their next game. Now all we need is for Brad Jones to get himself sent off in the last few minutes for Liverpool too and Dalglish will be forced to give Ward his premier league debut!

There's always Saturday for Jones to get red carded and Ward can play against Everton in the Cup in Wembley, perhaps even save a penalty!  |

I did think for a second that it could be a possibility, but then remembered reading something on an lfc forum after he was signed that they already had 8 goal keepers or something like that lol.

they have recalled Gulacsi from Hull but the youngsters Ward & Belford are in contention

He's on the bench for Liverpool. Lets hope Mignolet gets injured and hopefully he can take a chance of at least becoming the number 2 because Brad Jones is fucking awful.

Mignolet should have been sent off first half today for handling outside box but ref missed it.Pity for Ward, Wales and for Wrexham's bank account.

Ward obviously picked for his potential and I back Coleman 100% on it.
We have our first choice (Hennessey), we have our mediocre second choice (OFW/Maxwell) and we have our third choice with huge potential (Ward).
Maxwell should be disappointed at being picked over OFW, not Ward.

When the other options are shit and have no potential, yes. We're not talking about players from the top 2 divisions, we're talking about players from league 1 & 2.
Premier league potential > league 2 28 year old.
