last email from UEFA last week said this :
From the beginning of next week, we plan to start taking payments from applicants with successful ticket applications.
Please note that this email is not an indication of the status of your application. It is possible that you will be allocated all, some or none of the tickets that you applied for. You will be notified of the result of your application once the payment process is over.
If you are a successful applicant, your credit card will be charged automatically.
Please note that in case of a payment failure, your application will be cancelled.
You are therefore kindly requested to check with your bank that there are sufficient funds on your credit card, or to raise the credit limit per transaction accordingly.
Please remember that if you have agreed to accept tickets in other categories, this may increase the total amount to be paid for your tickets.
according to my credit company it still pending until the merchant takes the money which could be 24hrs+ think i will wait for the email confirming if i have got the tickets or not think my total points is 24.

I only have my bank indicating £666 (about euro 850) pending. UEFA portal says nothing new nor is there an email yet... Am I looking in the wrong place on the portal? I go to 'check your application' and then to "STATUS OF YOUR APPLICATION" All it gives me is the regular list I applied for initially - no confirmation etc.
Just paranoid that they decided to upgrade my application from category 3 to 2 and only gave me conditional tickets to quarters, semis and final...
Thanks!

its not about the expensive tickets its about changing the criteria yet again !, as was stated individual games home games carried points !, those points should be used simple as that or dont they count ?.

i must admit to being surprised to getting any tickets but figured that a cat 1 or 2 application with a tick in the box to go up a category if required would at least put me in a better position than going low. Glad I booked my hotels on the night of the draw as well.

Yes the clever ones who knew they had few points opted for Category 1 and 2 where there was less demand but they were expensive Spot on Corky. I know of a number of lads who, knowing they'd be well down the loyalty pecking order, applied only for Categories 1 and 2. Safe to say, it looks like they've all got what they wanted. Simple but sensible thinking it must be said - not many of our fans would be prepared to spend £80+ for a single ticket.

I applied for CAT 1 Follow My Team tickets. I have somewhere between 6-12 pts (memberships, Half ST, been to most home games but not always bought tickets from my account) and have no pending transaction. I also wrote a book, but there is no mention of that in the loyalty points system.

Not sure what point you are trying to make bit saying you will buy tickets to games and not go just for points won't win many friends here If you knew you had a low number of points then with 14,000 members and the possibility of 2 tickets each the lgical thing to do was to buy a higher category ticket as these were lower in demand. Going for a cat 4 or 3 would have you low down the pecking order.

Thanks helipad138 I guess its going to be another tense 24 hours then. Well, even if all I am getting is category 2 tickets to quarters/semi and final - £666 isn't much to pay to see the lads lift the cup!

Sorry corky, your 2nd post says 2012 membership counted but your first post doesn't Could you clarify? Thanks The criteria says the last two memberships that means ones bought in 2012 and the ones bought in 2014 [b Your initial post in this thread states 2014 / 2016. No mention of 2012. At this point confusion seems to be the clear winner!

In response to corky I have had a transaction taken out with 12 points there, bought the first half of tickets nearer to the time, and had the half season ticket. Also had membership last year and went to Belgium away. Also been to most home games over the last three campaigns and been a membership for the last three also.

Get in before the "begging" letters arrive by the sack full.

You will be...... Looks like I've got most tickets but not full amount I ordered. I've got 20 loyalty points but think I've missed out on England too despite applying for cat2 for that one to try and guarantee it. Don't mind if I've lost out to away regulars but will be frustrated if some people get an equivalent ticket on fewer loyalty points. Still, no point being down on things until we all know for certain. And, ultimately, I've been impressed with FAW's handling of it.

Anyone else in a similar position ?
I knew I'd have relatively have high points, now know 30 (full home points and 6 aways) so was fairly confident of applying for tickets in Cat 3 or 4 for me and my son through to the final (apart from the semi-final). My son would have had 18 points but we only applied under my membership due to the higher loyalty.
I've got a pending transaction on my credit card but for half of what I'd have expected to pay for Cat 4 tickets. I thought it might mean I'd have only one ticket for each match but re-reading Uefa's FAQ's this can't happen as you can only get the number of tickets you applied for for each match which means I'm now missing matches.
I wasn't too worried about tickets before but panicking like mad now ! Update Sleepless night but panic over, looks like there was another transaction overnight to take it to the full value and got everything !

My Dad has the same points as me, but has a payment pending whereas I do not. Thankfully, he applied for 2 so I'm sorted but I'll be really miffed if my application wasn't accepted.

i thought they were taking into consideration the last 3 tournaments. Also, what about tickets for individual matches rather than tournament tickets Home game = 1 loyalty point Away game = 2 See T&C for Gold Membership HERELoyalty SystemPlease note, in the event of a restricted home or away match ticket allocation, a loyalty-based system will be used. This may be based on points, as detailed below, or on specific membership and match booking history. The same system will be used should Wales qualify for the final stage of the European Championships 2016 in France.
Points awarded to Gold and Junior members will be carried forward from the previous campaign only. Match points will only be valid if you quote your membership number at the point of purchase. Points will not be added to your account retrospectively Euro 2016 Qualifying Campaign Tournament Ticket holder = 6 2014 World Cup Qualifying Campaign Tournament Ticket = 6 Euro 2016 Gold or Junior member = 3 2014 World Cup Gold or Junior member = 3 Home match = 1 Away match = 2 HOWEVER,It has just been brought to my attention that FAW have done a UEFA and have posted a second set of T&C here: www.eticketing.co.uk/fawtickets-english/list.aspx?tagref=18253The Euro 2016 section on the FAW site states the same as what Corky did...

Before people start going on the ultra aggresive string the FAW up wait and see what uou get. It looks like every account has pending transactions. Pending transactions if not completed and processed will drop off accounts. So its doubtful everyone who has 1 has tickets.

Seems that everyone who applied and was successful (ie card not declined) has pending transactions. Now they will either charge the card or drop off depending on who is successful. Too many people have pending transactions with too few points

It will come down to whether the t&c when we applied has now changed? If it has then they may have breached consumer rights. TS may take this on on your behalf. Find it hard to believe faw are that stupid mind. No really.......
