From what I've seen, we are really scattered all over the place. There was a serious sing-song going on in Warsaw bar, just off Freedom Square... A fair few drinking around the old town etc. I'd say at least 400-500 or so that I've personally seen.
Hopefully, some sunshine and possibly 15c-16c tomorrow we see us on the streets.
Europe Square, where the buses will be, are gearing up with stands of bars / food etc, as is the area just behind Meidan ...

Bus information updated
Please note, due to the Beer festival that has recently been arranged in Europe Square, the supporters buses to the stadium will now depart from Gorgasali Street between Tiflis Palace & Mercure Hotel.
The departure times remain the same - 17:15, 17:45 and 18:15 – however supporters are advised to arrive at least ten minutes before departure to allow for boarding.

Taxi fare from airport to town is officially only 25 lari. Taxi fare anywhere within the city centre is maximum 5 lari, although it should be 1 lari per km. Bus number 37 works 24/7 and leaves every 00 and 30 for 50 tatri. You can pay exact coinage into machine on board. Will drop you off along Rustaveli Metro, Freedom Square (next to tourist information kiosk) or even the bridge near Hanger bar. Going back to airport, dept from in front of Freedom Square metro at 09 and 39 Seems that I was really stung then. The bloke was an absolute scumbag. |

It’s fine. The fare back was only 30 Lari and I guess I was silly enough to jump in to the first taxi I found. I’ve forgotten about it already.

Because of work commitments we only arrived for Ireland game on the Saturday and left Monday afternoon................... Best Holiday Inn have stayed at. Cracking weekend and do hope we draw them again sometime. Fingers crossed a 2 week sojourn across Russia is as enjoyable for WC. Cousins daughter still adores the "I love Georgia" fridge magnet that I and then thee got for her. |
