Gutted for Brooksy, he was all set to smash this season out of the park. Fingers crossed he's fit in time for June so he can smash that instead.

All the noise coming out of the club atm is that they are "optimistic" for a March return- knowing AFCB like I do that sounds janky as fuck; hopefully he doesn't miss the entirety of the season. Every single good player we have is injured presently, so here's hoping he's not starting next season in the Championship either.
It does also sound like this is purely down to a botched surgery as well, so at least we aren't "responsible" for it as such. Though quite how a Premier League club can allow this to happen is beyond me.

Got to hope he has time to reach full fitness before June, if things go well then that should be more than probable, but only if B'Mouth don't rush him back, now they are looking like a relegation team.

Really; what gave it away? Idk the ins and outs of what went wrong with the surgery so can't really comment, its not a good look though. I'd hope that being in the Premier League we wouldn't see anything as Conference as botched surgeries but hey-ho- Premier League in name alone!

In all honesty Bournemouth NEED him back ASAP if they want to survive. It’s a rocky time for them at the moment, but I really hope they get their best players back out on the pitch and survive.

Big call for him to make if they go down. Does he stay out of loyalty like Joe, or force a move somewhere bigger and better?

I think a top team my see it as an opportunity to get him for a decent price.

If he has ambition he will have to league. Bournemouth would probably need to sell a few to survive so wont need to force a move.

More importantly, what's his current injury situation. In fact as I see it we have 4 out of probable starting 11 on long term injury with little information coming out on any of them. Perhaps we should have a thread dedicated to the injury status of Brooks, Rodon, Mepham and Davies or indeed any others who may go down.
We still have the fragile Ramsey and Bale out of the treatment room. I for one am happy when I see them out of their club starting line up, the last thing we need is either of those starting 20 games between now and the end of the season. Going back to the original 4 there certainly seems an ominous silence or doubt on the return of Davies, Brooks and Mepham in particular. We could be going into these euros with a better team and staring line up than in 2016, but we need all the above fit.

Brooks is slated to return to grass training w/b 07/02/20, so if that stays true expect him to be making a tentative playing return three weeks to a month(ish) after that.
Ben Davies is slated to return to full training at some point next week, being available for selection the weekend after that.
Plenty of time for both to get fit for the summer.
Mepham's in trouble however. 100% no return prior to April, perhaps stretching to May.

Talk on Twitter is that Shef U make make a move in the Summer I’d be disappointed if he went there, he’s top eight premier quality imo Let's be honest, I reckon they ARE going to finish top 8 this year. Wouldn't see how he fits in their system though. Man U if Ole is still there?

Man U if Ole is still there? Apparently Brooks is a Man United fan, so I think that would be the move he's personally after. Brooks on the right, James on the left with Pochettino as manager...we can dream...

I very much hope so too, although that report is full of words like "hopefully" and "bumpy road". It will be a nervous time for Cherries and Cymru supporters from now to the end of the season when it comes to Brooks.

How would that be considered a disaster?

The way Tom and Harry are playing right now, I'd recommend David gets himself a UEFA profile and goes on the re-sale portal next week, if he fancies seeing us play this Summer ;-))

A crocked Brooks still has quadruple the ability of on-form Lawrence. It'd be like dropping an unfit Bale for Lloyd Isgrove.
