I'm a Bolton ST holder, and feel Christian's pain. Don't judge the club or fans, it's the actions of a rogue chairman. Most supporters are disgusted by the treatment of a player who was just coming good at Championship level. Administration can't come quickly enough for many of us. Best of luck to Christian and FGR, and their Chairman who seems a very reasonable gentleman amidst all this.

Think he will do well there. A step up from FGR but a step down from Bolton so a good fit in my eyes

Scored again today. Would like to see him tested in the Match friendlies to see if he can provide back up to Moore.

He’s a tall no 9 with a good touch so yes in that respect. Was settling in at champ level until it went tits up at Bolton.

Scored again today. Would like to see him tested in the Match friendlies to see if he can provide back up to Moore. Was thinking this the moment I saw this thread pop up when I logged in. If he wants to try a backup plan for Moore for the plan A and doesn't think Vokes is up to it (which barring some dramatic change, he isn't), then we are really struggling, unless HRK comes back (which I would be conflicted about anyway), Doidge is probably the best option out there to at least have a look at.

I think Doidge is a long way off the quality of Tyler Roberts.
Yes, he's done okay recently, but he had a horrific start in Scotland and I don't think we really need to be looking at him.
By all means give him a go in a friendly, but I think he's got to be a long way down the list.

Roberts is a winger/no.10 these days anyway and would be a completely different type of striker to Moore were we playing him up top. Roberts is competing with Rabbi & Lawrence & Wilson. Doidge is competing with Moore & Vokes.

We're going to take three strikers at most, regardless of their role as a striker and Tyler Roberts is in their competing for that place with Doidge and Vokes.

Have to agree with welwyn, or at least that should be the case. Roberts has been awful every time I've seen him up front for us. He can't hold up the ball and I don't think I've ever seen him win a header. On the other hand, he's had loads of good reviews as a 10 for leeds, so it's a no brainer for me

No need to try out Doidge and Bradshaw unless we get injuries
If he plays the way we have we need Vokes to back up Moore with Bale also able to play there.
Ramsey and Wilson as no 10s with possibly Roberts covering both positions

Ramsey and Wilson as no 10s with possibly Roberts covering both positions But Vokes is a poor CF in the worst form of his career. If we put sentiment to one side, I'd say it's worth testing doidge to see whether he would make a better backup CF. Otherwise, if Moore gets injured we know giggs won't trust vokes to step in, so we'll have to change the whole system.

There is only one 9 that's Moore. If he's not available we'll have to change the whole system rather than just put Vokes, Roberts or Bale there. We've tried it with all of these and they're not suited/able to do the 9 role properly. Doidge would be worth a call up for a friendly. If he keeps scoring there can be no justification for ignoring him, notwithstanding the quality of the league he is in.

Seen some of the goals on social media. Lots of scruffy, horrible goals but the key word in the sentence is ‘lots’. Could be the back to Moore. Lets start him in a friendly

I'd quite like him to be given a run in March, probably the closest player we have to Moore

8 goals in the spl isnt anything to shout about.
However Moorevonly has 1 championship goal this season.
I am sure the management have looked at him and Bradshaw and decided they aren't good enough
