YEEEEESSSSSSS
Sky were saying earlier that the odds on City to survive were 1-20 on, or such like. I hope plenty of City fans had a tenner on it ;-)

Brilliant. Let's just hope they dig in deep and see this one through.
And to top it off, Barca have just beaten Manchester United 👍

My bet is Swansea top half, Newport top 7, Wrexham win playoffs and Cardiff stat up about 100/1 odd i think it was start of the season

Brighton were absolute rubbish.
On that form they won't get another point.

Got my ticket in the Ninian for the Palace game next month. What a game that will be. Can't wait! Great result for Cardiff bro. I think we should play a under 23 team against Cardiff on May 4th and if we lost heavily it would be worth it to relegate Brighton and the jeremy kyle type supporters.

On way back. What a result and atmosphere.
‘You’re just a shit Barry Island’
Can’t see Brighton winning again, they look shot. If Cardiff beat Fulham and Palace they’ll stay up and may only need to win one.
...and CPFC won’t bust a gut if it means Brighton get relegated either. Bring it on.

Started to really feel my age though, the kids going wild tumbling over seats everywhere and all I was worried about was someone treading on my sore foot.

Brighton have to play Spurs, Arsenal & Man City. We have to play Liverpool & United. Any points out of these games would be huge for either team, but I can’t see Brighton getting anything on their current run. This leaves Brighton’s fixtures against Wolves (A) and Newcastle (H), and City’s fixtures against Fulham (A) and Palace (H). If Brighton get a win it will mean City would HAVE to get two wins. I think the target should be 4 points from Fulham & Palace, as this means Brighton have to pull out a win from somewhere. As previously suggested though I could easily see them losing all of their remaining fixtures. Our inferior goal difference could be a problem though, meaning 3 points may not be enough.

Fantastic away win. Still a tough ask to stay up, but gave themselves a great chance after last night.
It's going to be touch and go who survives, both Brighton and Cardiff have hard fixtures coming up, and Brighton have a game in hand.

Thanks for the summery. First things first. If BHA get anything from their Saturday game v Wolves (or Tuesday v Spurs), City MUST then equal that on Sunday v Liverpool.
Then Fulham away on Saturday 3pm (with 6-days rest) - MUST WIN.
BHA play Newcastle on the same day, but at 5.30pm - if City beat Fulham earlier, that is MASSIVE pressure on BHA then to deliver.

Yeah that's a good way of looking at it. I don't know why but I have a good feeling for the Liverpool game. Logic tells me the complete opposite, yet I remain optimistic for some reason.

As if it wasn't bad enough about the spuds beating Citah in the CL - I have a feeling this will also mean that they will get to their match v BHA on Tuesday with very little energy or inclination to battle after their 3rd match v Citah on Saturday.
NOT HAPPY, but good luck to our Ben ...

I'm not really sure why this discussion is occurring in this forum. Given my club allegiance this could be mis-intepreted as a typical example of the tedious rivalry between Swansea and Cardiff. But it really isn't. I just can't see what Cardiff are contributing to Welsh football now, or any time soon. If there are plans afoot to invest more in the academy to bring it up to Category One status, then Cardiff retaining their Premier League status really would matter from a Welsh perspective.
As things stand Cardiff aren't really a Welsh club as far as the playing side is concerned in any meaningful way. Such a shame given that Cardiff, when Sam Hamman was in charge, contributed a lot to the Welsh ecosystem: Ramsey, Collins and Earnshaw being the examples that spring immediately to mind. Does the Welshness of the club feature at all in the owners' thinking?

Still, for a Wrexham fan living in Cardiff, I get a little tired of saying "I live near Swansea City" when in Asia/Africa etc.
