I have three tickets for sale for the game - Canton End Block 106. They are two adults tickets and one childs. The childs ticket can be upgraded at the stadium (although there is nothing to stop an adult using a childs ticket). I'm looking for £50 ono for all three. I can post them. PM me if interested. You will be missed ;-(

Hennessey Chester Mepham Dummett Roberts Davies Ampadu Ramsey Allen Bale Brooks
I would play without a 9 so we have no out and out striker. It doesn't quite come off for us playing with a target man seeing as we do not have anyone up to it. Vokes is often too easy to mark when we play decent opposition. Ramsey can support Bale and Brooks and with those three there is plenty of movement and interchanging, making them difficult to track. I don't know why people insist of having a target man. It would be fine if we had a big John in his prime (Charles or Hartson) but sadly we do not.

It depends on how he plays. If he goes with 2 wide men the we need someone Like Vokes to get on the end of the crossed.
I would play him

But when have we played with 2 wingers Gunter and Taylor have provided the width for most of Vokes games I think we're at cross purposes here. I mean Vokes should not start in my opinion as he's rarely effective for us and easy to mark for most international defenders, especially at the level of Ireland and Denmark. They will have an easy ride all game: win most headers and get to the ball first 9 times out of 10.

There's looks to be a load of tickets still available. Would be very disappointing if this didn't sell out. There should be an influx of ticket purchases on the day/door I hope but this is likely not to sell out

Club/International football is kept completely separate as far as I'm concerned. I don't think the complexity of the Nations League helps - i.e. a lot of people probably think it's a friendly.

You are right that the Nations League suffers from an identity crisis, but the fact is people in South Wales only have so much money & many have recently shelled out for Cardiff season tickets & individual matches home & away. A ‘souped-up friendly’ against the Irish on a Thursday night - as many of them will see it - is not going to get them to part with any more of their hard-earned.

How many tickets have Ireland sold does anyone know ? Will be surprised if we have more than 1000 in Cardiff. Fact we played yous and denmark less than 12 months ago doesnt help but in reality alot of fans have lost faith in oneil and dont want to fork out the mobey for games atm. Our bandwagon is gone so back to the usual hardcore fans only for the time being

Apologies if already asked, but what's the deal with getting flags in to home games?
We have a 10 ft x 5 ft flag, I have seen a few flags in the ground - do I need to inform/ask anyone?
Thanks

RE: slow ticket sales
Sorry but the FAW ticketing is going downhill.
To me it is no surprise tickets are slow for this match.
I have tickets in the same section as I had for the EURO 2016 qualifiers. It worked out as £15 per game then. Now it is £28 per game. Last campaign it was £24 a game and we didn't qualify so how they have justified an increase I do not know.
Then there is the perception of the Nations League, but tbh I don't think too many people who aren't massively into football know exactly what they are, I don't think they'll think they are friendlies. I think people just cba and use it as an excuse.
Then they sold the package as Nations League + Euro qualifiers even though they didn't know how many games we will be playing at home nor when most of them are.
So we bought for 6 games, even though it's more likely we will have 7, compared to the usual 5 and there was a price increase. I had to shell out another £49 up front this time.
I think people would be put off buying individually if they usually go for a tournament ticket as well.
It's still very cheap for what it is and I have category 1 seats, but still, no surprise ticket sales have slowed.
Then there is all the GDPR emailing list thing, I've not seen sponsored facebook adverts for tickets, things on buses etc. I thought they could do billboard things like they did in 2014 (but they didn't have ticket/game adverts on them).
Also goes to show how many people are that committed sadly.

I’ve no problem with club and country flags. You don’t see it too often but club shirts are inappropriate.
One of the first things anyone new asks me away is who my club are. Tend to get assumptions of Swansea as I’m from Pembrokeshire originally.

Can I just remind you of the guidelines apostlewelshfootie.proboards.com/thread/1/guidelinesThis is a football forum for supporters of the Welsh national teams. Discussipns about which club might provide the most fans at Wales games is fine, but no anti-club posts please, or posts negative towards any clubs.
