“I bet you’re a Jack, aren’t you?” IMO, this post breaches the guidelines, as it is IMO negatively aimed at Swansea City. If you feel otherwise please let me know.

It was a quote. You can do anything with one of those.
The table was full of Bluebirds. Loads of Swans fans in Pembroke.

A very small percentage of people who like football are interested in Cardiff City, sorry to break it to you. Cardiff would be the most supported Welsh club out of people who attend am I wrong? Yes, they would be by a country mile & everyone is well aware of it too, which is the reason for the chip-shouldered response. My original point was pretty obvious to the majority of people on this forum, most of whom don’t need everything spelt out for them.

No Declan Rice for them. Looks like Southgate is trying to claw him from the boys in green.

No Declan Rice for them. Looks like Southgate is trying to claw him from the boys in green. Already three senior caps for Ireland too, this will be a blow for them. We’ve all criticised Dummett on here but at least he hasn’t openly said that he’s waiting to see if England call before he commits to Wales

If you feel otherwise please let me know. The point I was trying to make was a small percentage of people will have Cardiff City season tickets and go to Wales games, especially them that haven't had a CCFC season ticket for a number of years (ie them used to buying package tickets for club and country). Swansea ST holders have gone to the CCS for Wales games while we were in the prem, indeed I still have my ST and am a tournament ticket holder. Just to say it's because of Cardiff being a PL team now is why we've had a reduction in ticket sales isn't on, there are many factors including the more games we have to pay for up front, not knowing when they are and the price increase. Also the fact we didn't get to the WC and the Nations League being viewed as friendlies (although I think that's a myth as I haven't seen anybody state this?) will play a part. For reference, the last time we played at Premier League stadia, our attendances were well below what they were since playing in, what was at the time, a Championship stadium (Bulgaria/Austria/Croatia/Serbia/Macedonia/Iceland).

Apologies if already asked, but what's the deal with getting flags in to home games? We have a 10 ft x 5 ft flag, I have seen a few flags in the ground - do I need to inform/ask anyone? Thanks One with club logos should only be allowed if they are less than 1mm x 1mm. Shut up.

I don’t think we have to worry about either players commitment to Wales but its likely both will be capped in this double header anyway.

Brooks has to start for me.

I still hold out sone hope he will ultimately play for us but its a blow him not been in our squad (he was 1 of our great hopes for what is a poor enough time atm in irish football) personally feel alot of factors contribute to his decision to want time

I tend to agree, but considering that Declan Rice was "Young Player of the Year in East London last season" and England are all over him, what will they give to lure Ethan, who was the top of the list of the World's Top 50 ;-)

Saw someone post on YBIG that our only options at the back are a couple of 14 year old granny rulers who we only call up to stop them declaring for England...

Let’s not revisit the club rivalry nonsense. That was put to bed a long time ago. We are all supporting Wales and we all come together as one when doing so. That’s part of what makes supporting our own country special and why we are the best fans in the world ;-)

Squad to be announced on Wednesday at 11am. It's time for a few changes for these 2 upcoming games based form. No Ashley Williams, Andy King nor Neil Taylor My 23 would be: GK: Hennessey, Ward, Darlow (Maxwell)
D: Ampadu, Davies, Richards, Dummett, Chester, Freeman, Mepham, Roberts
M Brooks, Ramsey, Ledley, Watkins, Evans, Allen
F: Vokes, Lawrence, Woodburn, Bale, Robson-Kanu, BradshawI'd start with Hennessey
Freeman Chester Mepham Dummett Davies
Brooks Ramsey Allen
Bale Vokes [/div] Likely subs to come on: Lawrence, Ampadu, Ledley

It doesn't need to be a 23 man squad. It just has to be 23 on match day.
Giggs may name 23, but I wouldn't be surprised if a few more were there. Can't see Freeman being in the squad, maybe not Bradshaw, Watkins.
Ashley Williams is the captain, he won't be dropped like that.
Karl Darlow??? You've got to be joking. Freeman not played enough to warrant a place yet, would start Roberts over him. Lawrence will definitely start, and omitting Williams - there's no chance he's not going to be in the squad. Likewise with King and Taylor, they will be there on experience. Watkins has done nothing for Bristol City this season and went off injured Saturday anyway. Gunter is also going to be in the squad, match fit or not, Jazz will miss out. You haven't got Wilson in there, though it might be likely he will be injured through the break. Gwion Edwards has to be next on the radar after a brilliant start for Ipswich.
I like the idea, but think it's very unlikely. Freeman has barely played for Sheff Utd in the last 12 months for one reason or another.

Drop Ash for the moment, but don't end his career. It needs to be competitive, not just based on loyalty.

Drop Ash for the moment, but don't end his career. It needs to be competitive, not just based on loyalty. He probably doesn't deserve to be dropped from the first team yet, to say he should be dropped from the squad is just ludicrous. For one thing, it would be terrible for squad morale imo to see their leader for the past 6 years unceremoniously dropped like that. More importantly, he's played really well for us (barring the ireland game) even when he was struggling at everton. I didn't see his sending off at stoke the other day, but in the game before that stoke fans were raving about him.

Though I think for the Euro 2020 qualifying campaign in March a new captain will be named.

Definite news will be on the FAW either tomorrow or Wednesday but it's looking good that there will be a train available, still waiting to hear about Denmark home but Arriva has been taken over now and there is a new company running things
