Dylan was impressive for Dundee united in Europa Conference last night against strong opponents. He started the move that led to the United goal and generally gave a calm and effective performance.

Seems to be really well thought of in Scotland.
Regular game time, becoming a lynchpin of the team and some exposure to big games. Hopefully building confidence for his Wales chances (we could do with a confident, consistent Dylan Levitt). Well placed for a move to next level when time comes.
All good.

Dundee United with Dylan starting live on BBC Scotland/I Player at 8pm. It’s actually been an entertaining watch. Could be 5-0 half time I was looking forward to seeing Dylan in Europe.... ah well

Reminds me of when Scotland beat Holland 1-0 in the first leg of the play offs years ago, I think they lost 7-0 in the second.

Spoke to a few Dundee fans, got this from one of them:
"He's too good for United. He is at least a second or two in front of every other player so an intended inch perfect pass or cutting through ball often lands just short of the target. His tehcnnique is ludicrous and he is by far our best player."

At the very least, he's going to be on the radar of the Old Firm soon.

Losing 5-0 at home to Celtic in the 51st. So this month he’s lost 7-0 , 4-1 and 3-0 at home.... can’t be good for his confidence

Final score was 9 - 0. Thought the move to Dundee Utd would be good for him. Lots of game in a side where he is likely to be amongt their best players. However, suffering heavy defeat after heavy defeat does no one's confidence or profile any good.

Appears to be the weekend for Welsh players getting humped 9-0.

Appears to be the weekend for Welsh players getting humped 9-0. I flew to Australia this weekend. I woke up Sunday afternoon jet lagged and watched Liverpool v Bournemouth on catch up then I went for a walk cane home and watched the Celtic game live. 2 games in a row and 2 9-0 results I feel like I just experienced a massive glitch in the matrix

Thought he did well tonight, bit of a shame seeing him come off, him and Morrell were tidy in the middle. Looks like he's filled out a bit and simplified things on the ball.

Been one of his biggest critics on here, but credit where its due, did well tonight. In fact I wouldnt have sacrificed him for Colwill at that stage, would have reverted to a back 4 instead.

Agreed, surprised he's getting so much stick on the matchday thread. He broke up play and looked very composed on the ball, just didn't get on to it enough, but not sure that's his fault

Didn't too bad not enough to single him out. Looked sharp at the start, always an option, created angles and wasn't afraid to get on the ball. Game went on he slowly faded but same can be said about most of the lads today.
System needs looking at. Really think 3 man midfield would give more balance and a bit presence in the middle of the park.

He did alright today, he justified himself starting for sure & I think that's certified his place on the plane. Between him and Smith starting I think I'd rather him

Between him and Smith starting I think I'd rather him I suppose you have to factor in the quality of the opposition (Poland are a much poorer side than Belguim) but on the basis of their performances in these two games Levitt is some way ahead of Smith. He has an assuredness about him that I just don't see when watching Smith. He's also a year younger with much less senior football under his belt. I think he will contnue to improve. Not convinced Smith will.

I just get the feeling Page is not prepared to bench two of the four forwards, but that's the difficult decision that needs to be made. It is a really difficult one to be fair, I would start Bale and James with Brennan and Moore coming on (not a popular choice I'm sure) - James to supply the energy and Bale the quality. Bale has to start, but I don't think we can rely on him and Brennan to have an effective press, so James has to come in. My starting xi against the US would be: Hennessey Ampadu Rodon Davies Roberts Allen Neco Rambo Wilson Bale James

Morrell & Levitt could become the Allen & Ledley of tomorrow.
The difference is that the latter had prime Ramsey & Bale to play alongside, something that the former will never have.

Really struggle to understand how people lump him in with the likes of Smith as midfielders to move on from. He's far more talented than Smith and even players like Morrell (although not as effective yet).

Dragon Soccer's list of player ratings for each individual game (based on ratings on more than 300 individual stats from Opta) scored him 8.0 out of 10.0 for yesterday's performance.
Sofascore rated him 7.2 for the game.
Sofascore ranks him as 19th best midfielder, 12th best in terms of those who can play CM and 5th best midfielder (4th best CM) under the age of 25 in SPL, with each statistic being since start of the new season rather than over past 12 months which means greater focus on this season's struggles. His direct comparison (Matt O'Riley) is so far enjoying better season in a dominant Celtic side.
