Levitt went on loan to Charlton at 19 having made his debut for United about a week after turning 19. Woodburn made his Liverpool (and Wales!) debut at 17 and stuck around their first team squad before heading on loan to Sheffield United at 18. I think it's harsh to accuse either of sticking around at youth level too long. Their issues were being unable to establish themselves in the first teams of their loan clubs and in Woodburn's case particularly poorly timed injuries. At the age of 20, Levitt went on loan to Dundee United amd quickly established himself not only as a first team regular but probably as their best player. He then secured a permanent move to the same club for the following season. Unfortunately for him, United's form fell off a cliff in his second season and he himself underperformed (although he remained a first team starter) before sustaining an injured earlier this calendar year, which effectively ended his season and kept him out of the reckoning for our March and June qualifiers. Those are the facts. Whether or not he's 'bang average', 'lightweight', 'out of his depth', 'league 1 at best' or whatever other tired cliche that's applied is a matter of opinion. Personally, I see a technically gifted 22 year old (more so than any of other current options playing in his position) with the potential to be an important player for Cymru over the coming years. He may not realise his potential of course - many don't. But let's wait and see how he goes at his new club before writing him off. I agree with you and I'm not writing Levitt off? I was pointing out both players looked for first team football and didn't hang around youth teams. Levitt's early loans did have issues and didn't work out, I didn't say he was shit though or write him off

The rest of my comments weren't directed at you but a more general response to some of the earlier posts in this thread. Apologies if it seemed otherwise.

That's fine, I was more referring to Levitt's spells at Charlton & Istra

Starts for Hibs in the Europa Conference qualifiers live on iPlayer at 4pm Seems to have been given the number 6 shirt, promising signs The Scottish national team has players from Celtic, Rangers, Hearts and Motherwell, the SPL is a solid league and we shouldn't look down on players going there (especially to one of the bigger clubs)

Completely anonymous and sh*te apparently, hooked straight after half time.
I would argue he's behind all of Morrell, Taylor, Ampadu, James, Lowery, Howley, Sheehan and Savage right now. Has a LOT of work to get back into the squad.

Remarkable how you can form such a strong opinion without watching the match. I'm going to hazard a guess that you haven't watched most of the players listed either.
Levitt was subbed due to a change in formation. I know because I'm watching the game

Levitt was subbed due to a change in formation. I know because I'm watching the game I did start watching the game smart ar*e, but gave up as the camera angle was dreadful. Didn't hear Levitt's name mentioned once in the opening 15-20 mins. Checked his name around the forums and the general consensus was that he was sh*te.

You said 'apparently' so I can only assume you didn't watch. I hope the ‘forums’ provide you with all the info needed to form strong opinions about the other lads you listed.
Levitt was poor but didn't stand out as much worse than the rest, it was a terrible first 70 mins from Hibs. I agree that he has work to do to get back in the squad though.

Players will have bad games but it's much harder when it's first one with your new fans watching. Always going to be watched more closely in those circumstances while also having more difficult challenge with new environment and new players.
He's always come across as someone who likes a challenge with interesting European loans, moving to distant parts of Scotland etc. so it's just another one to rise to now.

Isn't your post missing a question mark? or do you know him or know people that know him? .

It’s not a question hence why I didn’t put in a question mark

Belle Vue was big in the 80's, he doesn't need to leave question marks

One has to assume that Belle Vue was attempting to reply to the 'Introduce yourself' topic. If so, he absolutely nailed it. Such self awareness is to be commended.

Have to say i dont think he should be anywhere near the squad.
Not playing a good level and never has shone in a wales shirt despite plenty of opportunities.
Sadly He's another one of our promising players that never quite made it. James Lawrence, matt smith, Woodburn, tyler roberts etc

Didn't see him in the hibs squad now, maybe just aswell villa 3-0 up before half time away from home, this will be a ten goal margin over the two legs if this keeps up,massive gulf.

Dylan still not getting any game time at Hibs ;-( Only had 15 minutes since mid August. Possibly time to move to a lower Championship team?

Think you'd be hard pushed to find any championship teams take a punt on him. Best League One or if he could get a move on the continent.

24 soon and can't get a game for the side bottom of the SPL, I think it's fair to say that he's regressing whilst others are emerging. The best he can hope for is a mid table League One side taking a punt on him.
